The deals they offer change daily. I use it for restaurants and crap. Well, more specifically, my girlfriend uses it for restaurants and crap and I graciously attend them with her.

Ah, cool. I'll wait it out then.

Lol I can get a 60 minute massage at some spa for $29. Would be the only time Cream Soda does something for rich people in his life!

For goods, it often works a bit differently from the restaurant example.

You pay the cost ($39 in your case), include your shipping address when purchasing, and they handle the rest. Typically you get your product in 3-6 weeks, and there may also be a shipping/processing fee. But there's no printing of a groupon.

Sometimes they require you to then go to a given website and order the product, but that's less common. In which case, you just enter the promotion code on the groupon.

Looking for a new hobby to occupy some free time I have. The problem being I live in a small town and dont have too much money to invest in it. I also work days and night shifts making keeping to a hard schedule difficult. Any ideas?

Building Legos, although that can get expensive.

Magic the Gathering: Once you get your basic cards, it's only 4 bucks for a booster pack, so you can spend in small chunks.

    Video games, obviously.

Take up reading. A Song of Ice and Fire is always a good choice, as are Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit.

Watch movies/TV shows. Netflix, torrents, whatever. You can watch new shows, old shows, red shows, and blue shows.

Could look at doing art. Don't need much to learn to draw, or get better if you have some skills already. A sketchbook (or a $6 ream of copy paper) and some pencils/erasers/etc along with a direction/focus. Being an accomplished pencil artist might not be your end goal, but there are a lot of fundamentals you can work on with <$20 in supplies from an office supply store. Not that a basic set of paints/pens, or a Wacom tablet are that expensive either, relatively, but it all goes back to basic drawing skill, and you can hone that for a few bucks.

Knit scarves and shit based on my little pony and sell them online, in no time you will have a bunch more money to get a hobby that isn't super gay. :D

If you don't mind being the guy on the side, then you're good to go as is. Otherwise, pretty much right away. She's fucking another dude lol

Looking to sell a new condition calculus book, but half.com, amazon, etc. don't sell the Teacher's edition, which is what I have.

What are the chances I'll be able to sell this thing? Would prolly do 50% of the cheapest new condition book just to get rid of the thing, but I don't even know how to go about listing it since it's not available at all. Should I group it with the regular books and put in the description that it's the teacher's edition?

Never sold any of my text books, but your 2nd option isn't bad. Advantage of teacher edition is what, more in depth solutions? What about CL/fliers?

I understood that as keep quiet in general, and using the female friend as an excuse to get you to do it. Or did you man keep quiet only in situations where that 1 particular person could find out

No go; prollly doesn't help that the back of the book says

    NOT FOR SALE
This textbook copy has been licensed to you, as an instructor, to consider for classroom use and is not to be sold. Under no circumstances may this book or any portion be sold, licensed, auctioned, given away, or otherwise distributed. Distributing free examination copies violates this license and serves to drive up the costs of textbooks for students.

Try Craigslist? Or post a piece of paper on a bulletin board at your school?

Clist def won't work. Picked this up in CA (for free). Lol this text book isn't even close to being heard of in my area though. It's gonna take up a lot of room in my luggage as well. May just leave it here if I don't feel I'll have a viable way of selling it.
