What's the TinEye equivalent for audio/songs? I know the ipod/iphones back in the day had a software (shazaam?) that got the job done -- anyone know something where I can plug in a youtube video and get a song?
Im going to a wedding later this week; and the bride and groom have made it clear they would prefer cash over gifts.(They havent registered anywhere). Im just not sure what an acceptable amount of money is considered a gift that isnt cheap, nor overdoing it. I was thinking about $100 but to be honest I have no clue.
cash instead? sounds pretty shady, lol.
Nah, it seems pretty common these days. If you would rather not get chafing dishes and silverware sets (probably already have them from living together anway) then cash is great for letting the newlyweds pay for their honeymoon, or go towards a big-ticket purchase that wouldn't normally be on a registry; think about a kayak or some art.
My brother had asked for cash from his wedding recently and it averaged 50-75 as lower end and up to 150 from the more generous people. It all went to his Tregor grill and had plenty left over to enjoy their honey moon even more.
Why is money found in bushes and pots in Hyrule, and why do they charge Link for things he needs to save the world?
I swear I just made a post, but it seems to be gone now.
Where can I find a good mechanic? The BBB, Superpages and Angieslist have given shit. All of my friends or family just got to a dealership or do it them selves. So basically I'm looking for a site that might help.
For mechanics I'll check with www.yelp.com (its food mostly but they cover other stuff too).
What's up with bgbucket?
Why does this thread suck oh so hard?
This please, but for music libraries in general. I haven't found anything I like better for playing music on my PC than itunes, sadly. I've tried most of the easily google-able ones and they all sucked hard. I don't like winamp's library system display either, or I would use that (unless there is a way to modify it more than just dragging around columns and rows). Itunes has a good interface, but the program itself is terrible.
Doubletwist
Its depends on how good is the relationship between you and the bride and groom. If just a regular friend, 50-100 would be fine. If one of them are your good buddy, you may consider more.
Like my brother's wedding, three of my father's very good friend did give pretty good amount, about 5~10x than the average amount of cash.
Regardless of who it is, I cover the cost of my "plate". That is typically 75-100/person. If they are a good friend I throw a $50 on top of what my plate costs.
My wedding will be the same way. We have to pay for it ourselves.... so I want money to fill the gaping hole this fucking wedding is going to leave lol.
I just tried it and at first it seemed to be what I was looking for - and then it seems to lack a very important feature that I can't imagine why would be left out: a search function to isolate certain artists/albums. I understand the program is in beta though (why I didn't try it sooner, it didn't exist when I was trying them all).
Not really digging the separate music player either but since it's a program that works with droid maybe there's some answers there. I guess I just want something that works just like itunes but less bulky and crashy. I probably won't find something like that, lol. Thanks for the suggestion anyway, it was close...
You know all those coupon ads they stuff in everyone's mail? Any way to NOT get those?
Girl I haven't talked to in ages adds me on facebook. Chats on the IM asking how things are and she said "well it's better than becoming a stripper"
So turns out she became a stripper and going through school from it.
Do I
A. Meet her at her club
B. Take her to dinner
C. Do what ever it takes to fuck the shit out of her?
