Ya I know but he shot first by calling me pervert for what is a legitimate, normal. comment (compliment), on a girl's hips. No way am I letting that go haha, not for something like this.

In this case calling him gay I agree does make me look bad (in fact, childish; afterall it's a very common insult), I was perfectly aware of this, but as a (straight) MAN what else am I suppose to say? "OOoohhh nice shoes/top/bag". And yes facebook is bad too I'm aware, but I was bored and looking to pick a fight, haha. So I think accusing him to be a gay was quite appropiate

EDIT: Or perhaps if I said homosexual instead of gay it might make it seem more adult. Still, I know what you mean, lolfacebook, etc. But just a thought.

Still it's all quiet now and it's been 18~ hours. I'll shoot back for sport if he comes up with a ridiculous reasoning. Got time to burn at work.

How old is this girl you're commenting on? Also, people quite frequently use "pervert" when there's an extreme (10+? Idk) age difference, even if the girl is legal.

True, I know what you're saying. She is 21 or 22 for sure (this other mate of her's is 21 and so are generally the rest of the circle; it doesn't say on her profile). I'm 26. The dude calling me out is 23 according to his public profile.

The 10+ gap I can understand and also generally agree wit, but society/image of females are changing so much nowadays that even sometimes an 18/19/20 can look adult/very attractive it gets to a point at where exactly do you draw the line; I mean, where do I stop at calling someone out for being genuinely pretty/attractive before I step into the perverted boundary?

Just a thought really, I have no answer either. Then of course the opposite is even more fucked up (in fact this is why I probably get in trouble at work as Brill pointed out lol); a female can woo over a male no matter the gap and it's considered OK. I'm perfectly aware of this what society has become nowadays and I am very much annoyed with the "injustice".

Back when I went to school, the major "male" the girls woo'd over tend to be:

1. Footballers (10-20 gap)
2. Eminem (approx 15 gap)-- this stood out really bad because of the amount of publicity he had, and also the girls would bring in his tape and play it on the school coach on loop everyday for a good few months
3. Movie or music stars/guys in the upper classes/year, teachers

Thinking about it, I believe people called men pervs just for buying The Sun newspaper in the UK (it has a topless woman on page 3 as a feature, regardless of what's going on). I suppose at the time I couldn't comprehend why, but now thinking about it .... oh god the world is fucked up. lol

EDIT: I suppose I should mention I'm somewhat aware and acknowledge of how women were treated back in the days of history which is probably somewhat causing what is happening in society today, but there's too many points to argue/discuss about -- not fit for this topic lol. Sorry again.

You should never feel bad for liking younger women. Ignoring more base aspects of the attraction (mutual), as long as you are within the law then it's never anything to be ashamed of.

Edit: Also, you are like 25% of the way to where you need to be. You can identify the problems but don't fully understand the root cause. Do some google work and I think you'll find people talking about some of the issues you brought up and hopefully it helps you out.

Well I felt like the socially awkward penguin today. I grew up in small town hickville, so I was not prepared to deal with a funeral procession in city traffic earlier today. Where I live, people would pull off on the shoulder of the road, even in town...can't really do that in city traffic. So what is the proper etiquette here?

Has anybody had to deal with returning a product to the SquareEnix store? They sent out the wrong thing to me like December 15th and I emailed them about it and didn't get a reply until December 24th, asking me to send a picture of what I got. It's the 29th now and they haven't replied back. I can't tell if they just have terrible customer service or if I'm expecting too much from them.

My dog eats any toy we get her. She loves playing tug-of-war and fetch. But if we stop playing with her she'll just start eating it. We've gotten her a different variation of toys. She's a miniature dachshund so I'm afraid it'll fuck with her stomach. She doesn't chew up anything in the house (which is what I see most people complaining about online).. she just.. eats her toys. Any fix to this? Or should I just take away any toys when we're not playing with her?

Short of trying to stop her any time you see her going to town, I'd say try to focus on buying her toys where them being eaten wouldn't be an issue. I suspect most reputable toy vendors make their stuff with that in mind to avoid pets getting sick, but I can also see some unforeseen incidents. Maybe stick to chew sticks with the occasional ball, probably not a tennis ball due to the fuzz. Some might say she's chewing because she's not getting enough exercise, but you didn't mention how much you walk her or even play.

Plumbing question:

I live in an apartment, so major repairs are out of the question.

That said, last night I went to put some water in the bathtub. (As I'm completely blind, I need to bathe every few days in order to shave, since I can't wear my glasses in the shower.) Whenever I get to a high enough water pressure, the shower head starts to run - not much of a drip and more like a thin stream coming down. I've verified that the shower toggle switch is secure and off. Now I could use a lower water pressure, however, I've found that I don't get to the truly hot water until the water pressure is high enough, which is really fucking annoying in and of itself, but not the point. (And even more annoying, whatever position I turn the nozzle for the perfect temperature today will not be where it is tomorrow, which means I waste about ten minutes a day trying to find the sweet spot.)

I'm tired of being sprayed by the shower head when I'm trying to fill up the tub with reasonably hot and not lukewarm water. I've tried adjusting the shower head to various positions, which doesn't help. Short of calling the leasing office who won't see this as a problem and probably won't consider it worth fixing, is there something I can do to correct this?

Ask them to replace the showerhead if it's old, that might be what is causing the issue. We had an old showerhead that didn't have enough water pressure, I called about it and they just popped a new one in and now everything is great. We also had our hot water valve break two or three times where it wouldn't shut off. At that time, it would leak from the hot water knob and the hot water would take forever to get hot just like yours. Since they replaced the washers in the knob or w/e (I'm not real plumbing savvy) the hot water is instantly hot.

So I mean... If you find it a problem and call them about it I don't see why they wouldn't fix it. You pay rent every month, it's your right to have them fix shit that you consider problematic to your everyday life there. Or maybe our maintenance crew is just really nice cause they fix whatever I ask them to. Or maybe they prefer to do it themselves so I don't try to fix it myself and possibly fuck something up worse XD

Get a $1 dustpan and tape it to the shower head by the flat part, with the handle part pointing wherever you want the water to drip.

You can wear glasses in the shower, just need to shave before you wash your face/hair. If your glasses get steamy you can rinse them under the water to clear it away, as long as its not little droplets its fairly easy to see with wet glasses. Having had long hair that takes forever to get dry I've mastered taking a shower without getting my head wet.

Otherwise, couldn't you just run the tub and then hop in it once its full? Thats what I typically do because otherwise my bath-stuff doesn't dissolve evenly into the tub, and I have to make sure I have everything I need.

Too much steam, they fog up almost instantly after I wipe them. As for getting in after it's full, the problem is the water splashes everywhere because it drips onto the tub water faucet and turns the whole bathroom into Lake Erie. It's fucking awful, and unsafe. I'll call the leasing office, I just wondered if there was some simple solution I might be able to undertake with some tools and ingenuity.

You could buy a cheap showerhead with a cut off built onto it. It's probably just a seal somewhere in the system that is old and rotted out. You can get a cheap showerhead like I'm talking about for 5-10 bucks at any hardware store or probably even wal mart. It'll just be a simple unscrew the old one and screw on the new one installation.

Ask your landlord to replace the valve stems in your handles. They cost less than a dollar a piece for shitty apartment places. While they are in there doing that, have the guy look at your toggle for bath/shower. It might just need to be reseated in order to fully close or open.

The new stems should fix your problem for the "floating sweet spot".
