Now something I couldn't find so easily on google, though I've been looking around for a while: anyone know any good places to find warm durable cute winter clothes for women? Obviously I know about all the department stores and major chains, I'm more looking for lesser-known websites that sell juniors-type clothes (hoodies, sweaters, shirts etc). A good example of the kind of thing I'm looking for is Papaya but most of the clothes on there are hand wash/dry clean only D:

Rivers talks a lot of shit. He backs it up though. He's one of my favorite QBs in the league for those very reasons. Even though I hate State (which, ironically enough I'll be transferring to) it's nice to see a starting QB in the NFL that came from a NC college. I think it's a combination of his talking shit and being ugly as sin that everyone hates on him in there (aside from me).

Hittin' up this thread again: does anyone know how safe the microwaveable "grilling trays" in lean cuisine and stouffer's microwave paninis/pizzas are? I could find virtually no reference to or info on them doing a cursory internet search and checking the LC website... It gives the bread such a nice toasted look when it's microwaved but for the first time I had some of the grilling tray plastic (?) stuck to the bread when I pulled it off and could have eaten it had I not taken a good look. Just kind of wondered if anyone knew anything about these. Not particularly worried but if it's something really unhealthy to be using I'd rather just stop buying them... I know microwaving is already bad enough...

A co-worker (female), always asks me, and only me, to cover her shifts. At first it was fine with me but recently it has become very inconvenient. I would reluctantly accept because we are a small business with only 5 people, one who only works ~10hrs a month. She's not a very good employee and the only reason she isn't fired is because we have a horrible reputation for firing employees and it takes a long time to train a new person.

I got a phone call from tonight her saying she was going to a parade with her parents and needed me to cover her shift tomorrow morning. I said (hell) no. I then proceeded to search for any parades in the area - she's been know to skew the truth about these things - and it turns out the only parade happening in the area tomorrow happens to be a gay pride parade.

The main reason she was hired for the job was because of her parental connections. I know that gay pride is not something her family would advocate. I'm tempted to call her out on this bluff but I'm not sure if its a good idea. I'm great friends with my boss, and he even told me to stop covering her shift (so that if she doesn't show up he can fire her).

What should I do.
(Sorry for the long post).
(I dislike her personality type (euphemism for I hate her))

Do gay people find the phrase "that's gay" or just the word "gay" to be offensive? As in "lame I missed the bus... that's gay" or "gay the ____ I wanted off the boss didn't drop". Never really thought about it until someone I chatted with said it was. The problem is, the person who said it was offensive was straight... so I dunno.

I'm more or less looking for a way to pretty much say I know your story is bull****, don't ever ask me to cover your shift again because I wont, without actually saying that, which may cause repercussion.

Should be obvious but I'll bite, people who are comfortable with their sexuality don't need to feel offended about a joking use of the word gay, since everyone knows the word is often used in that capacity. Straight people are usually the only ones who leap to the 'defense' of gays who 'might feel offended' by that particular usage of the word (aka white knighting for the sake of a joke or feeling like they have superior morals).

And the smell hasn't disappeared after washing the damn thing twice and keeping it outside for 3 days.
