Didn't it start on 4chan? I remember there was an ep of Pawn Stars where the guys kept getting calls for that and getting pissed off. So that phenomenon has at least made it onto mainstream TV >_>

So i have a tattoo i want to cover up with another tattoo on my back. The first one was not done well at all and is already fading pretty badly after only 3 years. What are other peoples experiences with this? Should i first get it removed then another tattoo or will a good design and artist make it disappear with a new design? It is roughly 8 inch long 3 1/2 inches wide, goes over the spine and only black ink.
Either or dude. If the artist is good he can fix it or work with it to make it better, but if he isnt good youll just have the same problem. For the cost of removing a tattoo though you might as well spend the time finding an exceptional artist to work with what you got. Ive seen a few bad jobs made great because a good artist came in and fixed it.
Also depends how dark the previous tat is - you said it's starting to fade so that shouldn't be an issue. Cover ups are all about tricking the eye - not so much covering the tattoo (though they are) but putting detail in places that will draw your eyes away from the lines of the old tattoo. It's kind of fascinating to see how some cover ups are done.
Thank you, you two. I guess at this point it would be best to go to a few Tattoo shops and have them draw me some designs of what i want. Not to mention how they would go about working in the old one.
I want to create an event on Facebook, but I dont want to create it as myself. I am an admin for a page for my Vol. FD, and I want to create the event under its umbrella. How do I do this? Can I do this?
Edit: NVM, figured it out while playing around
Got my first ticket ever today. Hurray!
Was just going to elect to do the traffic course and get the whole thing wiped, but I noticed I'm entitled to a "trial by mail".
Anyone ever try to contest a ticket by mail? How exactly does that work?
I just got cleared by my Doctors to get a tattoo and I'm torn on what to do first. I want either a couple of small zelda hearts on my wrist with a magic bar, or a half sleeve of nerdy things together. Shit ranging from Zelda, to mario, to various other things. Thoughts on it?
Im strongly considering getting a yoshi tattoo, probably one with him on a go cart giving a thumbs up. Idk if that sparks any ideas for ya lol.
"It's dangerous to go alone, take this" with arrow pointing to crotch.
Make sure you're able to cover it up if necessary. My only advice. I have a few and all can be covered up if needed. You just never know where life is going to take you. My new job is a shirt/tie deal and it covers up my tattoos just right, with a tshirt you can see the one that starts below my adams apple and goes down onto my chest. It's just barely visible with a tshirt, but it is still there, and my CO in the army tried to lose his shit with me when I got it. I pointed out that our restrictions say class A must cover it (which is basically shirt/tie) and he backed off, but he was still pissed. :D
I've been thinking about ideas for a new one myself. I have a shitty wrap on my right forearm that I got when I was 15 and want to cover up. Short on ideas though...was going to do a solid black band over it about an inch thick...then equal bands of red, white, then blue with a white star in the center (captain america style) on my shoulder with another black band through my armpit to bookend it.
I would recommend the zelda heart thingy on the wrist over the sleeve. There's this security guard near a store I frequent that has a Konami code among other shit and it just looks bad. Something small and simple would be better. Also you'd be able to conceal it with a watch or band. I'd suggest sitting down and thinking of your childhood and reminiscing of memorable games with meaning then going over icons/art and such.
Detachable penis ?_?
aight so this is gonna be hard to explain, but it should be a pretty flexible base you can tweak to your taste.
start with a yoshi egg, filled with a bunch of powerups, like the mario mushrooms and star, and whatever other stuff you might want to add. At it's base is the bomb-flower leaves from OOT (Like the egg grew there instead of a bomb). it explodes, and sends all the powerups and whatnot flying. at the center is a triforce, hovering above the bomb flower leaves, and at the outside edge of the explosion are little fragments of the egg's shell. the tattoo is a snapshot of that explosion.
you can throw other stuff in with the powerups too, or swap the triforce with something else. Or even the egg. But hopefully you get the idea. I think it'd be pretty cool.
My doctors won't go so far as to say I can't get a tattoo, but they say it'd be a bad idea, soI'm glad you're doing well enough that they're letting you.
How does shitting a lot make it difficult for you to get a tattoo?
I'll admit, that made me lol.
lol well, that, and i'm on immuno-suppressants, which reduces my ability to fight infections, and a tattoo is basically a huge collection of tiny open wounds, so that's a no-no.
and crohn's isn't just shitting a lot. I wish it were.
Okay, about five minutes ago I was just sitting here playing WoW on my laptop when my smoke detector chirped once, LOUDLY like it was about to start going off for real (and tbh, scared the crap out of me). I don't smell/see any smoke/fire.
Bit of background, the last few days any time I cooked anything that wasn't microwaved, the smoke detector would go off. I'm talking stupid easy shit like toast and eggs, shit that I was watching the whole time and that I did not even come close to burning.
What could cause it to do that? I have no idea if it's battery powered or wired into the circuit breakers. It's fucking 4:30 AM, it's not like I can call someone and ask them about this shit, but it scared the everloving crap out of me.
yup. and smoke detectors always run on battery, because your power is all too likely to go out in the event of a fire. rotate it counterclockwise a bit and it should slide off the pegs holding it in place.
