Yea, everything I said in my quoted response I said earlier, yet you keep repeating it like you have a reading problem. That is my flaw, I do not feel comfortable injecting live or sometimes dead virus' into my body, 3 at a time. What were you looking for? I haven't changed my response since my first post, I just elaborated or mentioned developments that shows where my thinking comes from. Your persistance to find a flaw with my reasoning, which was established early on in this thread is the most asinine gesture in this thread.

We have so much potential to prevent or cure the world's ills, but no amount of evidence is good enough for you because you don't feel it's true.

You missed my point, I stated my own reasoning flaw, yet you continue to seek for something already stated. I admitted that my own opinions are based off of my life experiences and feelings, and not on scientific data in this instance. I am far from a technophobe or anti science, but i dont feel like explaining myself to you all any further. I agree with you on that. However, lying to people and saying vaccinations are safe is not gonna help with that research for better treatments. Funds for better treatment? Why, we have a vaccine thats perfectly safe and effective!

So let's just agree that vaccines are necessary, but are potentially lethal and we require better ways to treat people.

One of the greatest medical achievements in history was the eradication of smallpox. There hasn't been a natural case of the disease in decades. At one time it killed more people than anything else on the planet worldwide- it was a flat out plague. It is, to this day and perhaps for a long time, the only disease ever removed from the "natural world" by human intervention. This was done by setting up large quarantine areas surrounded by vaccinated zones. They simply couldn't vaccinate everyone so they just did a barrier around each outbreak area. You could consider this a bit draconian but it got the job done and millions upon millions were saved then and through the years as a result. Look at the upper arm of people over 40 and you'll see a small round scar- looks kind of like a cigarette burn (not everyone got the scar). Thats the smallpox vaccination- they stopped even giving it out in America in the 70's.

Anyway, point is that it was an effective but some may consider brutal way to isolate and crush the disease. Medicine isn't always pretty. There is *no* medical intervention method out there without risk. None. It should be clear to anyone with any common sense that any shot, surgery, medicine you take carries some risk of allergic reaction or complication. I've never seen anyone in the medical profession put forth vaccines as being "perfectly safe" though the potential risk is VERY low by medical standards.
