Seemed mainly focused on the new expansions, which made sense in a game coverage point of view. I mean, I've seen the expansions mentioned on sites that rarely ever mention FFXI (Arstechnica for one).

What it is is that Milkman is really that stupid that he thinks it's a full-blown event. I was also incredibly amused that he lacked so much knowledge about MMM when the things he was confused about have been right on the POL front page for over a week now. People are saying this is worthless, but I disagree; this is comedy gold.

This, and I realize that while AV questions aren't going to get answered, one thing that we have noticed is if you sit and complain about the same thing over and over, they at least take notice of it. Would've liked to see a mention of AA or PW as well.

I am split on the tax money question. On one hand it is a really stupid question: it's just a lore excuse to explain the penalty. On the other he mentions Airships which is a really big problem. He should have just mentioned how Airships are slow and outdated given all the warping into Jeuno or out of Nations.

At least you can fish on the ferries, the airships are a big nuisance. But I got the vibe increasing and decreasing the speed of the airships would break a lot of shit because they're probably programmed based on the internal clock.

Would love warping from jeuno <=> starter cities if you are rank 10 or something though.

Mielke took the time to ask a question for some disabled/terminally ill kid for the Make-A-Wish foundation, someone much worse off than yourself. Off all the shit to twist your fucking panties over, you focus on this? I thought it was big of him to take the time to ask for the kid. My only curiosity was to what kid in the Make-A-Wish foundation actually plays FFXI... but that's peanuts.

The part that concerned me was the conversation time spent on the expansionettes. We didn't really learn anything that wasn't already revealed in Creator's Voice--which the devs themselves had already pointed out.

I think he handled himself well with the taxation question. It read more like it was laced with sarcasm, though the devs could have taken it as a light-hearted irreverence.

I was pretty impressed with the way the ground HNM questions were handled. Mielke didn't give them much room to squirm, but the devs' Avoidance Skill is higher than his Questioning Skill. It was my previous impression that the devs were unaware of what happens with ground HNMs(specifically kings), but it's become clear that they know full well what goes on, and are making a conscious effort to do nothing at all. The only question left is: Why?

I completely passed over the Fields of Valor and Swarm events. I'll learn all about whatever makes it into the game, and what doesn't I already don't care about, though I'll likely read that part art a later date.

Can't we just kidnap sundi or something and demand SE tell us how to kill AV and PW and tell em fix HNM's while they're at it. Surely sundi has to be valuable to them. Someone had to teach them their act oblivious to everything skills lmfao.
