I don't have a bluetooth anyways because I use my PC for most online shit. But if I can type rudimentary shit with the controller at least then I could play lol.

Can't use MSN though, since having my PS3 hooked up to the internet means no router hooked up since they really hate each other. (though there is an unsecured network within reach, but it's named Homobound_Cockwhore, so I don't want to use it lol)

I'll look into setting it up.

Yeah, when I was playing with Meteora I just used the onscreen keyboard to chat. The PS3 one is quite decent thankfully. The word predictions are pretty nice too for long words to save time, just can't really communicate mid-fight which kinda sucks. Atleast on MSN I can let people know if I'm laying down a trap or sleeping it. I do have a USB keyboard somewhere but I don't know where it is and I don't think it'll reach from my PS3 to my bed.

Whenever I play w/ Jay we do the planning before because it's a pain in the ass to be type and control the game, specially when we're evading shit.

I have the gunner gauntlets in my ghetto bow set! I just don't feel like farming it, and I <3 the hell out of Autotracker. Not really looked into if I can gem it into it or anything, I'm quite content in my Ceanataur set at the moment.

I've been working on my elemental set up to compliment my True Howling Devil, now if I only had access to the high G Kusha I could get my hands on Kusha Cista X since the Kaiser S I have is semiworthless...

So wtf man. I started out using GSWD as advised here and it was terrible. I tried everything else but LS and I was terrible. I tried LS the other day and wow is it about 1000x easier.

GS is a weapon that takes time to master. I hated it when I first played but now I love it and use it whenever possible (see: not super fast monsters). Since you are always fighting -prey mobs early on the GS is absolute shit. LS will always be infinitely easier and more fun for everyone, though.

You'll learn to appreciate GS soon enough when you constantly stagger wyverns with a fully charged hit to the face!

There was no such thing as LS in 1, so a lot of the seasoned vets are generally pretty good with GS, hammer or lance.

GS and lance are easy once you learn when to sheathe and when to roll/hop or block. Hammers are always pretty easy, they are actually fairly similar to LS.

Like everyone has said, GS are for those who already know the mob's patterns and can capitalize on them by charge 3s. If you don't know anything about the mob, it will trash you good because GS are slow, thus exposing you to a plethora of attacks.

The trick is to find a weapon you're comfortable w/ and learn a bit about the mob. If you get greedy w/ your attacks irregardless of weapon, you will get cornholed pretty fast. Just be patient and you should be ok. Just be warned tho... unlike GS, LS can't block squat :D

Learning hat you can set block direction before recovery is complete is part of the path to becoming pro.

Along with learning the secret art of unsheathe block.

If yall want this magnificent blade, just fight the dual Narugakuraga and break its wings. I've had mad luck w/ the heavenly naraplate too.

It does in fact have the best raw if you're naked....

Some of the better white ones surpass it with artisan added to them though, since going from white to purple on a 1400+ adds so much more than tossing attack up and expert on an already purple low raw weapon. (gaelic, c.blango, mirage, peerless all have higher damage potential I believe).

The one completely badass thing about that sword though is that you can get some neat armor skills since you don't have to gear for artisan or ESP, so having stuff like trapper and high earplugs is a bit easier.
