I just tried Khezu G7, after 20 min. and almost dead, the bastard decides to go back to his lair. All cool, the thing it's going to rest and I can just show up and hit him once or twice and it's dead. Well he decides to rest on an unreachable platform and had no way of waking his ass up. Gave up, tried again and killed the POS mob.

So, reading this topic has kind of got me interested in trying this series out. Should I start with Monster Hunter Freedom 2? Or does this game have everything from that game and more?

Unite has absolutely everything from Freedom 2 and more. It's essentially just an expansion pack with all the original content bundled in too.

Just got rank 8, and holy crap Narugakuraga took forever. The bastard went berserk like 8 times. Rank 9 here I come for my RathSoul Z gear D:

Nargacuga is just stupid badass lol. I doubt I'll ever bother trying to solo farm him like I do for silver/gold and the elder dragons.

Did you get rank 9 in portable 2 G? If not you should probably watch a video before fighting Yama lol. I just went into it blindly with a couple other people who had never done it and it was a complete disaster. Took like 5-6 tries for everyone to learn his tricks and take him down. -_-

Yeah I did, I thought he was incredibly easy. In 2ndG he has about 18k hp lol.

Narugakuraga has some nice evade gear albeit ugly as sin, but it's like Tigrex in steroids lol. It's an enjoyable fight what irks me is not knowing the mob's hp, I'm so used to that shit but since I'm starting again, I'll go w/o.

This is for PS3 or you need a PS3 to play it online on the PSP?

It's for the PSP, but the PS3 acts as an Ad-Hoc hub so you can play the game globally with other people. Unfortunately the program used to do this is Japanese (requires a Japanese account to download [free]) and takes some time to figure out how to set everything up.

Azure Rathalos is a piece of shit, he just keeps flying away. It's a smart bastard too, the fucking AI detects traps and conveniently avoids/flies over them. I did the run w/o using any flash bombs and it almost took 45 min >_> Fuck it, taking flash bombs next time :U

Hit me once @ 100% health and almost killed me.
