Valkyria-X, don't have a USB keyboard that reaches from my PS3 to my bed, so I can't really talk on Ad-Hoc party. Been playing with Shiro for a little while and it's working damn near perfectly, using MSN to communicate. Everything was real easy to set up and it worked straight away.

Am I able to join higher rank quests that I'm not qualified for but you are?

Shiro just got his HR4, apparently you can't all do the Urgent Quests and get the rank up. Won't let me join his HR4 quests though so that's a no go.

Eh, the DL should be the same since it's divided into ranks, and since hunts are rank-based only higher can join lower but not vice versa... I just added you, Kia. I think it's too fucking late for you though.

Yeah I think I'm done for tonight. I gotta be up at 7am on Monday and it's almost 5am now already, don't wanna throw my sleeping pattern too far out of whack.

Yea, that program is really easy to use...once you figure out wtf to do. Didn't know how to chat for like 10 minutes until I accidentally hit 'start'

Have you figured out how password protect the hut?

Yeah we were playing in a passworded game. When you open the menu to make the house the top option is the name, no idea what the second is, third is password.

Edit: Peerless materials: FataHrdCrmsnWng (2), Wht Fatalis Wng (2), Elder Dragon Jwl (3). Fatalis are a pain in the ass ;x

Plain Fatalis isn't too hard. Hell, you can easily 4 round solo him with a weak dragon element weapon, and abusing the castle weaponry.
Crimson and White though, fuuuuuuuuuuuuuck.

That's the problem, the drops are from Crimson and White Fatalis <_< Btw, I've farmed Azure for my armor, yeah, good luck getting the fucking plates. I need 4 the drop rate is 1% and 2% and I get four chances: Carve, drop, reward, and tail.

Couldn't be worse than salvage drops ...

The copper blagonga tachi is better though, other than being really stupid looking lol. Got the final form last night, 1536 attack makes tail cutting so easy.

And killing a couple g ranked rajang and copper blagongas is a hell of a lot easier than farming that red and white fatty stuff.

Desert Decapitator has more raw power than Peerless but negative affinity 20%. It looks really crappy.

Another top LS contender is Ultimate Gaelic: def 16, affinity 20%, but less raw damage.

I'm also one stage away from getting Peerless, the others I'd have to start from scratch. I'll get them later, right now I just want the best possible set I can get to make hunting easier: Los Soul Z + Peerless = (HGE, RA+3, Evasive Maneuvers).

so i've been thinking of getting a PSP recently, should i pick this game up?

It's the most popular PSP game in japan
however, it's not easy for many people.
It's got the motion of devil may cry, the hitboxes of street fighter, the boss patterns of mega man, and the grindage of salvage drops.
MH is not for wussies.

I'm having a hard time getting into this so far. (It's my first MH game).

The controls are wacky, I really dont like where the control stick is positioned on the PSP in comparison to the rest of the key controls. Is there a way to remedy this?
