    Migrating from 360 to PC

Will the client updater running on PlayOnline right now also download the entire WoTG expansion as well? I have a cd key for it registered to my PlayOnline ID after all. Thing is I'm going from X-Box 360 to PC. Not sure where I can download WoTG for if you're unable to off of POL.

If you want WotG on the 360, you need to install the expansion for that system. It won't detect that you've registered it and download it for you or anything like that. However, if you can borrow someone else's disc or obtain it by other means, that's all you need. You don't need to re-purchase it unless you have no other way of getting a WotG disc.

Oh, really? They don't let you download expansions? YAY! Too bad I can't install the game from the 360 disc I have! I'll have to browse through torrents for a secure .iso..

No, they don't as far as I know. The only expansions which will permit downloading through the interwebs are the new ones they're coming out with (the "mini-expansions"), but those are going to be purchased through XBL anyway. Thus, even if you bought them for PC already, I am rather sure you'd have to buy them again on the Xbox 360. The only possible way around this would be for SE to sell keys and make the downloads themselves free, and that would be smart, but...

Er sorry, not "smart," but "good for the consumer."

There are about 4-5 threads on this forum with links to active torrents for download... Or, you know. Mininova/Google/Demonoid/etc.

I personally downloaded WoTG for PC since I got free keys from friends. And it installed fine/was clean torrent.

I'm gonna have to do that, or maybe my friend at Gamestop will let me borrow a disc when he gets off work. Either way, I just have buy the game, copy the disc, and return it to save my precious bandwidth. No big problem there.
