    lol That's not the part I was talking about, but that's the part I'm on now. I beat the courtyard... Just have to keep pushing forward when there are a low number of Higs around. I kept killing them without knowing. The Radec part is a pain in the ass... only hard part of the game so far.

    I want to like this game. It looks amazing and seems like it has an interesting story, kinda meathead-GoW-ish but ok nonetheless.

    I can't stand the controls though. I'm definitely used to the 'twitch-happy' style of FPS I guess.

    I read a term somewhere (here?), 'deadzone'? Like, how long it takes for your avatar/toon to complete an action from the time you press the buttons/move the analog/etc.

    Sluggish was a good choice of words. I bet it just takes getting used to but w/e. ;x

    3 hours in and the controls still seem a little sluggish to me :/ Tried online for about an hour lastnight and got raped! Gonna mess with the sensitivity settings when i get home from work this evening.

    Just finished it, not anything special besides the graphics, just another solid shooter in a sea of solid shooters. The top 3 still remain Halo 1, Golden Eye, and Half Life.

    Been reading, and I'm sure most of you dont go to the offical playstation forums, so I figured i'd just relay some notes. Some of the developers post there, and just a few specific things relating to certain comments here.

    Okay, before I start crying.

    1. We have not decided if we are going to do anything to the controls. We are investigating.

    2. If we change them, we have not said how. No reason to get upset. We are not going to turn them on their head. It would not be sweeping changes.

    3. Any potential changes made will be carefully analyzed and tested to ensure they do not negatively affect players who do not experience any issues.

    Now can you all take a break and stop making threads about this. They will not affect change either way.

    Any just some other general bugs they've been looking into.
    Boost
    we've identified and fixed the bug to do with the boost medal not being awarded. It will go into a patch we are working on at present, but there is a workaround in the mean time to get it. Simply ensure that you are the Game Creator rather than client and you'll be awarded it.

    Network Errors/Honor Ranks
    We are also looking at fixing a good bunch of the network errors and are looking into the complaints about the Honor Ranks as well as a couple of other bits and pieces. We'll provide a list of fixes when we are close to releasing the patch.

    Bots
    We're working on a permanent solution for the bots stat padding and have some internal solutions that we're going to work on implementing. We'll let you know what those are when we've got the patch together and the solution implemented.

    We will NOT be wiping ALL stats and padders will be looked at individually by the moderators.

    Killzone.com is being sorted out today to deal with the massive traffic its been facing and hope to have some long-term solutions in place shortly.
    The stats are currently empty on the site and will be repopulated today.

    Controller Issues
    We have not stopped looking into the complaints and will see what we can do about it. Any possible changes will have to be carefully implemented and tested before being deployed though.

    Charge disarming
    We have identified the issue where sometimes the C4 charge in Search and Destroy will not disarm. Will be fixed with the next update.

    Shotgun Aim Assist
    Investigating the problem and will patch it up.

    Clan Games
    Sometimes the clan that does not turn up for a match is awarded the win under specific circumstances. Will be patched ASAP.

    Battle Replay for Map 8 - Corinth Crossing
    The BR on Killzone.com is not quite right and will be fixed soon.

    Ignore list
    Was found not to be functioning correctly. Will be fixed in the next patch.

    Crashes

    Crash when using Saboteur disguise in certain situations. Will be fixed in the next patch.

    Infrequent crash when trying to start a game with an empty game name. Will be fixed soon.

    Medic/Assassination
    There is an issue with the Assassination target HUD icon displaying when playing as a Medic. Investigating and will be fixed.

    Thanks and apologies if I am not responding to all questions, PMs and threads. There are simply not enough hours in the day to help all of you out and I have to work on the issues themselves. So please stay calm and sensible and everything will get fixed up soon. As you can see we've fixed up a bunch of the problems you have encountered as well as a couple more you might not be aware of. The important thing is to be patient. Any patches have to be carefully implement to ensure that no additional issues are introduced.

    Just downloaded the demo. Not a big FPS player but this one seems pretty sweet, might pick up the game and get into this whole online thing.

    I actually don't suggest ramping the sensitivity up all the way, I ended up leaving it a click above normal which I find much nicer. Headshots in multiplayer are more important than being able to turn around super fast.

    Really enjoying the online, and so far liking the campaign. My friend and I got to Major and Lt. Col over a couple games this weekend, both signed on and got the 3% trophy.

    But ya, people need to stop bitching about the controls. Play a few games and they become natural. Realize that they are not Halo controls lol.

    They might make it an optional change... So you can choose whether you want old style or new style. They did the same thing with Lair, though I never played it.

    Holy god do those forums make you lose brain cells. Anyways, some people are complaining only about the layout, and others are complaining about a delay between input and the action.

    Pretty sure the command lag has always been there on both consoles, but I have no idea how this relates to that. People are arguing the lag is more in killzone, and thats what, if anything, would be patched it appears.

    Edit: Seems like the average lag for Ninja Gaiden (Also ran at 60fps) was 4/60. Killzone is apparently 18/60. Not really sure if you can really rely on most of this information though, user seems fairly bias.
