I may be wrong, but i think you can only get points from being in the green shaded area when playing assassination.. but.. there's a badge for defending so idk.

The medal for defending is when you are the target and you survive. I think you might get a mission point if you help keep the assassin target protected in that area, but you don't get a medal for that.

No. It's two different ones. One for surviving as the target, and one for killing the target, lol.

I got the badge for killing the target real early, lol. Was way too easy when the game started, I had the advantage of knowing the ins and outs of almost every map.
That's a pretty impressive game ya had there Akiyama, guess I should play those longer games more often.

Yeah. My K/D ratio overall is up to 1.3 which is eh. My kill rate is like.. 70 total, but like 110 this week.

Kotaku - First Killzone 2 DLC Announced - killzone 2

It's called the Steel & Titanium pack, and features two new multiplayer maps. The first one is Wasteland Bullet, which takes place on a train, and the other is Vekta Cruiser, which takes place on...well, a Vekta cruiser.

The pack should be out at the end of month, and as of yet, there's no word on pricing.

Watched the video and the Train map looks awesome. In addition to having to watch out for other people you can be killed by the environment (low hanging objects, not timing jumps between trains). The 2nd map is mainly a vertical one

They also gave a one word hint at the next DLC release: "Retro" (Likely Killzone 1 maps)

Yeah, for the "major announcement" I wasn't surprised or anything. I was really hoping they'd at a new game type or something. Not exactly inclined to buy two maps for $5 or whatever they make it. Highly doubting it will be free.
