1. If they failed as a news station, they wouldn't be the most watched news station.
2. They are reporting what some professor is doing research on the effects of Mr. Rogers, and they actually laugh at the fact. If you were actually open minded you'd be able to comprehend that statement, but instead you want Fox to fail sooooo bad you'll say anything to help prove your point.
If you don't like fox news, then don't watch it. Don't try to take away something that millions of viewers like myself enjoy every day. I hate MSNBC for various reasons but i don't want them taken off the air. The market is deciding which of the 2 are superior.

Jesus christ you retards, fix your sarcasm detectors; Fox and Friends is MOCKING these stories, not reporting on them as fact.
Fox News may botch up the news regularly, but let's actually have a good reason to hate them.
Did you stop listening 20 seconds in? It's over 6 and a half minutes long.
"I BACK IT! I BACK IT!" -fox news commentator on the "study"
They're laughing at the "source" (Rogers) of the problem (kids on the lawn) but they're completely reveling in the premise.
The woman guest didn't feel he was detrimental (but didnt' feel he was beneficial either), but the actual commentators were running wild with it and the whole excuse to yell at the kids to get out of the yard.
I'm sorry but anyone that compares a news station that promotes hate and deception ( FOX ) to MSNBC that simply has a bias and has ONE over-opinionated host that actually has the nerve to be offended and make special comments against government lies, hatred, racism, and power through fear - you're out of your fucking gourd.
The strict base that FOX panders to is every xeno/homo/intelligence-phobic half sentient fuck in the country, where MSNBC had one host for four years that stood up for liberal ( mostly socially ) ideals and proved a counterpoint and balance to what was on cable news for the longest.
You don't have a "liberal media" controlling the populace with 20 years of republican rule in the last 28. Media bias has always favored a center-right / right point of view. We finally have one solid voice on cable news and all the sudden it's a leftist media. The right is a bunch of fucking panzies. Get over yourselves and go bomb a few more abortion clinics before you even start aligning the left with terrorism and media bias no less.
Video just seemed stupid to me, and fox news is as conservative as Bush. If you think Bush is a conservative then you are an idiot. That goes for both sides, if you a republican and you say bush is a conservative your just as big an idiot.
Saying any news media is more biased then another is idiotic. Each outlet leans the way the people paying the bills wants them to. Im a conservative but not a republican, I dont watch FOX, I didnt vote for McCain (or Obama), I did vote for bush the 1st time but not the 2nd. Just becuase 20 of the last 28 years had a republican president doesnt mean it was "republican rule". Most of the time the majority of congress/senate is on the opposite side of the aisle that the president is on. Which means some if not the majority of the democrats would have to agree on bills/laws that were passed. I know bush is a fuck tard, but blaming every problem on a president or political side is retarded, Everything that is wrong with the country can be blamed on both sides. So quit acting like it was all the evil nazi republicans.
hmm yes both sides are equally as bad as one another... perhaps the answer is somewhere in the middle... ron paul 08
1. Haven't Olbermann/Maddow been kicking their ass in most if not all of the prime demos since the conventions?
2. We understand they are reporting what some professor's study says, but the fact remains that the study is bullshit for a lot of reasons, and that this story did not come up on more 'unbiased' morning shows(Today, GMA, Early Show) or even on MSNBC's Morning Joe which is also conservative. So what we are left with is thinking that they are reporting on this largely because it fits into the world view they are trying to preach
1. Holy crap Do you live in La-La Land? Cable News
2. Reporting silly things isn't preaching dumbass. If you'd sit down and watch Fox and Friends you'd quickly find out that the show is mostly about silly things! It's a funny morning show for raptor jesus' sake!
1. No I don't live in la la land, reread what I said, beating FNC in the key demos, which judging by the link you posted seems to be more or less accurate. I did not say overall viewership.
2. Fox and Friends is a retarded show, all morning shows are funny but Fox and Friends is no different from the rest of the channels line up inregards to a bullshit conservative agenda. Also, Morning Joe is a lot better then Fox and Friends anyways, especially when Joe drops F bombs.
Oh look it's the same tired No-true-Scotsman bullshit that every Paultard and conservative who isn't motivated to defend Bush pulls. Like it or not, the GOP is the mainstream conservative party, just like the Dems are the mainstream liberal party. You don't see me running around saying the Dems aren't liberal/left just because they don't mirror my socialism, so how about you just man up and accept differences under the umbrella instead of going with ad hoc defenses.
I would like for you to name one conservative thing Bush has done aside from tax cuts. Liberalism's definition may have changed, but conservatism's definition hasn't.
Calling the Iraq War as the will of god?
I know it's completely uneducated, but in my mind I immediately equate conservative with Republican and use the terms interchangeably with Bush simply because he ran as a Republican. I know it's wrong, but I'm guessing lots of Americans have adopted the "Republican as synonymous with conservative" thing.
