You wouldn't know that though because you've demonstrably never picked up a book nor educated yourself on the matter. Let me guess, overweight housewife?

not that I'm saying other stations don't have the same problem (I'm sure they do), but that reasoning just says to me they're not keeping a good enough eye on the news that are using their name. Not to say that it should never slip under the radar, but unless someone got in trouble for spouting that kind of shit, then fox to me still has poor service.

[edit] and my post was a semi-joke post to lighten the mood as this thread started about Mr. Rogers and got way too deep.

There are like 5 posts which are readable, most of which are Mojo's.

Every single news station has posted stupid, ridiculous, biased stories. This isn't one of them.

Energy Independence - Conservatives want to drill now and pay less which also means spending less money overseas.

War on Terror - Conservatives took the war on their soil.

    Pro-life - Every life deserves a chance

Pro Guns - Just one chance; self defense of our family and country

Tax Cuts - Reaganomics at its best, tax cuts for companies large and small, they spend more and create more jobs, adding in a tax cut for the worker as well, so they buy more product everywhere else

Freedom of Religion - Even though I'm an atheist myself, I'll die for the right for every American to worship whatever god/goddess/goat or w/e the hell they want. This country was mostly based on the views of Christianity, and those basic principles are only good for man kind.

That's conservatism in a nut shell.

wait, I thought compassionate conservatism was a perversion of conservatism? if so why are you taking credit for bush "misdeeds"? or are you not one of the bandwagon post election wingnuts that claim "we need to get back to basics".

That's one thing i really hated bush for, compassionate conservatism. It's being a liberal minus the social issues.

And yes, i feel my party does need to get back to the basics. We will come 2010. It's gonna be 1994 all over again baby!

So you're going to refocus your efforts to try to make another strong leader ineffective by trying to follow through on every scandal?

    Thanks.

He was talking about the Republican take-over of Congress, nothing Clinton related. Too bad he has no idea what politics is like in the real world and how that was able to happen then and the impossibility of it happening 2 years from now in the current political climate.

Sarah Palin didn't know Africa was a continent. This is the person you want running our country? I like McCain, but Palin not so much.

Because Palin said so? The hoax insiders had nothing to do with the Africa rumor. So no, it wasn't disproven, it was contested.

All of which besides the lie of freedom of religion ( Conservatives hate anything but Christianity / Judiasm, it wasn't liberals killing Sikhs out of ignorance after 9/11 ) are te cause of our current crisis. Reganomics never worked, it was lucky enough to have BIll Clinton balance the budget for it.

Conservatism has failed, failed, and failed.

Not one single point of yours has been proven, they have actually put the country in retrograde. This is proven by the likes of Nobel Prize winning economists. Thanks for nothing but nationalist fervor and state fascism conservatives.

At this point, it doesn't matter whether you really are a troll or not.
I understand your wrong, and that I didn't acknowledge your entire post because the rest was just exaggeration.
So basically, no, you don't understand, again. Thanks for clearing that up.

you gotta wonder how far from the pack you have strayed when even rotten.com didn't have anything bad to say about the man. Fred Rogers

i think a good easy social conservative litmus test is a president's position on the global gag rule. Bush reinstated it after Clinton took it away and Obama intends to remove it again. Since it is decided by executive decision, and does not affect us domestically except to ideologues so there is less political fallout than say, anything roe v. wade related (late term ban legislation, parental notification, supreme court nominations) which actually affects the USA

If that's true then why did all those jobs disappear under Carter and why did they magically reappear under Reagan?

I lost all respect for the Nobel Prize when they awarded Gore with zero factual evidence that man causes Global Warming.
