Nope.
Nope.
If you parse any Sam and their melee Acc is above 60-70%, their Ws Acc will/should (In theory atleast) be capped (94-95%~). You gain something along the lines of a +40 Acc (May be wrong on exact #'s, can't remember) bonus for Y/G/K along with most single hit Ws's which lets you pile as much Str on as possible![]()

i know my TA setup needs work( thf hands getting made as we speak), and few others...any suggestions?
yeah, it's called toss cuchulain's mantle and tp and foragers. >_>
Dusk.
Get Dusk hands/feet..
Edit: Gdi Hyriu.
it makes 0 sense to tp in rapparee harness and war gloves +1 over acc body piece and dusk, or is that just me...
Sea gorget for WS.
Also look into the enkidu set, it's got some decent pieces.
See, this is what I hear from SAMs all the time, and yet I always see them with nothing close to capped WS Acc, lol. I don't see many Yuki misses, but I see a shitload of whiffed Kashas and Gekkos. I know eyeballing isn't a parser, but when you see several whiffed WS in a 10 minute span I gotta question it, lol.
Edit: Also if I see a SAM with melee Acc around 70% I'm not letting them stay in the party long enough to see how their WS Acc is, lol.
pic of my shiny new marduk piece. i'll let ffxiah sort out my gearsets for you all.

parser pretty much proves it tho.
SAMs tend to WS more than other jobs... so you do tend to see more whiffs than anyone else. Hell, my last pt I had quite a few gekko and kasha whiffs, but was still directly at the 95% acc cap for WS. was hovering around 85% acc for regular melee.
I don't know about the other Sams, but it seems to go in streaks. If I miss one gekko/kasha then I'm probably going to miss several in a relatively short amount of time, then it goes back to never missing for an hour and a half. Then there are just the bad days where I can't hit the broad side of a skoffin to save my life, no idea wtf that's about.
Well, perhaps it's because the game "forces" you to have 95% accuracy; if you're never missing for a fair amount of time, there needs to be a 5% miss streak to make up for it I guess!
well, rich is gimp so he will always miss/come in 2nd. the AV parse showed this vey![]()
Its just random unless someone has data to show otherwise. Its the nature of people and how we 'recall' bad events when we use memory and not facts.
Example: as a sam, assuming 95% WS accuracy, under good xp circumstances, we can perform on average around 28-30 weapon skills every 10 minutes, with soboro even more. In the course of 3 hours, that could accumulate to over 500. Odds are we will see at least 1 back to back miss once every 2-2.5 hours. A back-to-back-to back miss will occur on average every 48 hours of playing.
In addition, we would have a 50% chance to see a miss just 3 minutes before or 3 minutes after that back to back miss. In the course of just two 3 hour xp sessions, it would be very probable to see us miss as much as 4 times in a 6 minute period including 1 back to back. Obviously, over the course of a month, we could see 5 misses within a 6 minute span.
The key thing is, we don't mentally recall most of our misses until they occur more than we expect. Once that happens, we pay attention and if another miss occurs, we are very well aware of it. If it happens again, it becomes a serious memorable pattern. But its more than likely just random.
I missed two Gekkos in Salvage tonight and I got all self-conscious about it. Then I realized my WS damage was lots and I TP fast, so it wasn't a huge deal. I only missed 2...
I figure I might as well show what I've got.
