Don't see it as often in some LSs b/c the plds and/or nins get all butthurt about not being asked to come on a tank job. Never understood it. I've been tanking for years, and I've got exceptional gear for pld and nin. But if there's a rdm tank available that's decent, hell fucking yeah I'd rather them tank. It's impressive to say the least if it's done correctly.

Yep people who know me know how well geared my main is (Hello Aegis) but i still will take my RDM/NIN over PLD/RDM PLD/DRK or PLD/NIN any day. With windower Cancle plugin i can basicly Ichi tank all hnms with my co tank PLD flashing mob to keep it up. Its fucking hard to break my stoneskin so even when shadows are both down from an Aoe or something. The mob still hits me for 0. RDM that has terror > PLD that has terror. Shield block does not work when terror and i sure as hell take less dmg per hit with non shield blocks as RDM/NIN over anything (PLD/RDM comes close).

Btw what is a NIN tank? NINs damge migration is the worse out of the three. Unless you got 2 SCH/RDMs Aoeing you all the time. What is a waste of 2 spots in the tank party.

What do you tank Ouryu or KB on? Ks99 wyrm? ixion? I can see if you start off with CS on KB but PLD/DRK PLD/RDM are very strong hate wise.

RDM/WAR for KB, RDM/NIN for anything else.

Why would you /war for KB? Provoke is not worth anything, if you weren't bothered about melee hits then sub /pld and add another mp efficient hate spell to you cycle.

From the perspective of a RDM tank, I'd much rather let a good PLD tank most things.. the exceptions being mobs they can't melee. Sure, I can hold similar hate and have slightly better survivability, but atonement is just too good.

That's an insane amount of magic accuracy for mnd enfeebles, I seriously can't think of any NM in the game I would use toau ring over aqua for, even without enfeeble merits. At the very least use errant body instead of af+1, and consider squeezing devotee's+1, aslan's/rainbow cape, and/or an aqua ring or two into your inventory. It's really better to have a paralyze that actually procs on an enemy, even if you get resisted and have to wait a few seconds to redo it occasionally. Nice tank gear though.

I have those items as its not the best i can get but those items are used alot across the board of my spells. 69/70. Maybe when can go /80 i get more but atm can not get much better.

Atonement + Curecheats is what it takes to put Pld/Nin back up with a smart Rdm/Nin, as both can now cap CE and spam the fucking shit out of VE.

If you can't spam atonement, you better be jesus though.
