Rest is pretty vague, curious about this guy. Any info would be very appreciated, thanks in advance.

Eh, never personally had a problem with Shin. The guy has been known to get a little emo from what I've heard, but honestly he's a good player and I couldn't think of a reason to say anything bad about him. I'd say he's worth a shot, mostly because he's pretty decent at his jobs for the most part.

Account was up for sale at one point, but I believe it was still the original owner when he went on my blist several months ago. Quick summary: Skilled player by early 2005 standards when we briefly had a static. Had mostly abstained from non-Dynamis endgame content until about a year ago, when he formed a little fledgling HNMLS. Flipped out on me about how selfish I was because I outclaimed his LS on Adamantoise of all things, then switched to complaining that I was breaking the server's camping rules because another solo observer got sick of all the whining and killed my two adds. A few weeks later, he was in the LS that dismantled the server's rules with MPK attempts and ignoring the /random rule. He was only there for a few months, but it's entirely possible that the account was up for grabs again.

Can't honestly remember anything that he did that was terribly drama filled(though I'm assuming you're talking about Dreamers Weeks?) There are quite a few people who would say otherwise as Weeks has just done. But all in all, no massive glaring issues that there needs to be much concern over. Was in a few parties with him back in the day and there were no issues with his playing style/ability. I would say give him a shot.

No, Weeks just has an innate disposition against Dreamers as a whole. The general angst Weeks harbors is towards a past group of individuals, some of which happen to be in the current group which is why he would take the time to ever-so-eloquently right a live journal entry purely bashing Shin/Dreamers. I would say Shin is a generally well mannered individual who is just looking for something to keep his interest in playing. I'm assuming you don't drop major items on new recruits anyway, so I wouldn't see a problem.

Shinjin is a player with average skill(mediocre)/gears but i would seriously question is loyalty/dedication to any shell he potentially applies for.

Case in point, while leader of his own so-called 'hnmls' he shops around for another hnmshell...gets in other shell, and once in shops around again for another shell? I would say he has a defeatist attitude and will bounce if he does not feel he is getting what he wants.

Additionally, he didn't get anywhere in this server because his attitude is shitty/emo.

Example: wanted to learn salvage(bhaf-rem) so begged lets call them GROUP-K to take him so he could learn- note: not to lot on items. Group K takes him to bhaf, beats boss, ares25 body drops, goes to player with lvl 5x pld. So he takes it upon himself to bitch and moan to people he knows resulting in pld5x player getting stupid tells from his friends because he feels he should get it.

That's the kind of shit shinjin is known for. He's worked his rep up so no one will take him on caitsith, best of luck to wherever he goes and to whoever takes him.

Not really going to get too involved defending Shinjin, but who the hell are you lol? I'm just curious because I'm a big believer in posting who you are when you shoot someone down and not hiding behind anonymity. But like I said, I'm just curious.

This actually wasn't another Dreamers rant since he was only with the LS for a few months, Octavious, but I suppose I should caution Grieverao to look up the track records of other Dreamers members who have moved on to other LSes. The point was that he's a whiny hypocrite.

To get the chronology straight: He had previously been a leader in an old Dynamis shell on Caitsith, but then he disappeared from endgame for at least a year. The bad attitude/manipulative reputation was out there by now, though I thought at the time it was overstated. He was a leader of a small HNMLS that I believe only lasted for a few months at most before he left to be a grunt in Dreamers. Lasted there a few months, not sure where he went from there because I put him on my blist and stopped seeing him around.

Oh really Brill? Would that be why I always found you behind me in COD4... D: I do agree that anonymous bashing is petty, but it IS the internet so what do you expect. Bob says I should pickup Left4Dead, or do you play on COD more?

Well I've noticed with CoD WaW I end up getting pissed off a fuckload more than I did on Modern Warfare. Left 4 Dead is fun but there are some issues with it. There's literally, no story, at all. Nothing. And there is a horrid selection of weapons, six in total. But it's fun as hell to play as the infected in versus mode.

I don't recall a whole lot about Shinjin other than the fact that he was a little eccentric. Generally though, as abrasive as Weeks and Octavious come across sometimes, they've both usually got pretty sound input on people as far as Caitsith goes.

I met Shinjin when he joined MLN. He wasn't in the shell too long. I know he took a break from the game cuz of school. He's always been a really nice person to me and I'm happy to have a familiar face on Hades.
