best gear for cannonball

Well im about to hit 70 here shortly and i want to start gearing my cannonball set...I have read many things and talk to blu's and each give a lil bit different main stat but under the same idea... Stack tons of vit and def then str...is this true and if so at 70, even to 75 what pieces should i be aiming for to maximze my damage. Thank you !!

only recent changes might be Gnadbohd's helm is now best for head slot with the af2 hat somewhere in there and Magus jubbah+1 is best body piece
