Tech vs Ole Miss: I don't think Ole Miss, in the history of the football program, has ever played an offense like Tech's. (edit: I don't mean never played as good an offense, I mean never played a wide open all out spread done near the best it can be in college) If they play absolutely amazingly they have a chance... at keeping the score reasonable.

Also, the more I look at this Ole Miss vs Texas Tech matchup, the more intriguing this is. This has the potential to be a very very good game. Ole miss held Florida to 30 in the swamp (and that's the least Florida scored all season) and that's the most their defense has allowed all season. I don't think that is going to be as much of a "lulz" fest as Plow does.

And since I post this, TT will come out and score 65 points in the second half and I'll run off into the shadows with my foot in my mouth.

No, not really, there's not. Taking into account the ppr and the tot, after the top 5, it's a dropoff. The difference between 5 and 1 is about 14%. The difference between 5-6 is about 20% with much much less ppr remaining. I'm 5th and have a 33 point lead on the 6th place person with twice as many ppr. You can make the argument that the difference between 1-2 is greater than between 5-6, but Laguna doesn't have a lot of ppr.

And the fact that the big dropoff, even in points, is a notch above me, not @ me (I could still beat the person in front of me, mathematically I don't think either of us can pass you based on who picked what) explains perfectly why you set the cutoff at me. I'm sure it had nothing whatsoever to do with you specifically wanting to.

That has nothing to do with a huge 44 yard run with a few seconds left and Ole Miss in prevent (half the run yards right there). Nothing at all. But yeah, Ole miss is certainly playing defense for the pass. The runs are eating them up.

I'm not watching the game, but uh...looking at the rushing stats I see 7 total attempts and the three players that have rushed have each had a big run...yeah that tends to up the average a bit...

Stat that is jumping out at me right now is that Snead has more passing yards and TDs than Harrell. I would've never guessed that.

Edit: Took a look at overall yardage as well

Rushing: 127 (Miss), 97 (TT)
Passing: 214 (Miss), 148 (TT)
Total: 341 (Miss), 245 (TT)

Yeah...I'd say Old Miss' defense isn't doing so bad at all. Take away that last 44 yard run and Tech barely has over 200 yards total. Considering they are supposed to be an offensive powerhouse, that is a big time switch from the norm.
