I think I am 100% correct in picking Big 12 games. I think I've watched 5 or 6 all season.

Well.. I've been on the lolbig12defense bandwagon all year. I never jumped off at all. D:
And oh, I missed that chant.
God watching that game on FOX made it suck balls. At least I can watch this UK/ECU game on ESPN and be entertained by the commentators
Look, I've said it before, defense wasn't the sole reason they won the game, but had they not preformed like they did, Tech would've won. It isn't ZOMG SEC DEFENSE PWNS ALL. It is simply the fact that the defense caused enough havoc and made just enough big plays to keep Tech at bay enough to comfortably win the game.
And how you are trying to compare Ole Miss to Oklahoma State just boggles my mind considering OSU got waxed in Lubbock on both sides of the ball. Saying Tech would be tougher in the regular season game doesn't make a whole hell of a lot of sense either. There is more time, rest and preperation for both teams going into a bowl game. Had this game happened in the regular season, you'd be saying "well Tech was just worn out from their Big 12 schedule" and had Tech won it would be everyone else saying "well Ole Miss was just worn out from their SEC schedule".
Rofl. yeah, because we all know South Carolina and Kentucky is the class of the SEC like Oklahoma State and Texas Tech were for the Big 12, outside of OU/TX. =P
Also, while blaming injuries is a cop-out, Kentucky's lost most of their playmakers. If I remember right.. all it took to take TT and OSU out of their game was taking away what... one playmaker?
S-E-C!
S-E-C!
S-E-C!
S-E-C!
How can you insult Ole Miss for anything they did today? The SEC Speed + Defense argument just became that much more potent, and I'm seriously considering recanting my Oklahoma pick for the title game and going with Florida...
Round of applause for Scouts Inc, I don't think anyone else in the world would've said it quite this way, but 2 days ago:

His offense is what it is, they do what they do. The same is true of his defense, except with way shittier coaching.
The point being, the more time there is to prepare before a Texas Tech game, the more the edge slips away from Tech. It's just how it is when no matter who you're playing, you're coming at them with something they've never seen before.
Not to mention, OSU had a terrible day @ Tech, and Tech had a terrible day in the cotton bowl. You can't honestly tell me you believe this was anywhere near as well as Tech is capable of playing lol... If they play like they did against OSU the results would be virtually identical.
Also, Kentucky game is coming out pretty good now that they got their shit together.
SUGAR BOWL TIEM YEAH WOO![]()
Welp, TT losing screwed any chance I had at a respectable point total. 32 points down the drain.
I guess I can take comfort in getting all my homer conference (Big East) games right, just need UConn to not suffer from fumblitis against Buffalo.
I don't believe if Tech played the same they did against OSU, it'd be the same. Ole Miss gave TT a 14-0 lead early on with two costly turnovers, and were outscored following that 47-21. TT really laid the wood on Oklahoma State because once TT got up so much, I honestly think Oklahoma State's defense just fell in on itself. It certainly looked like that based on the score.
Anyway, time to watch the Sugar Bowl. I hope we get an Oklahoma/Boise State-like game instead of a UGA/Hawaii. I'm sure it'll be the OU/Boise State style because losing Andre Smith is HUGE for Bama.
Anyway, good luck SEC homers, I really hope Bama rocks this one.
I really, really think it's downright insulting to Saban's intelligence and understanding of the game the way he's been treated after the Miami debacle.
He was a bad pro coach, he knew it, and in a league where everyone is holding on way too long, and too many great coaches are ending up embarrassed and/or fired for trying get over a hump they're not capable of surmounting, he realized where he needed to be, and left the Dolphins before he could do any more damage. Good for him, in my opinion.
WOW! LOL. That big DE just scored that TD.. did you guys see that fucking stiffarm? Holy god, and his knee was down. Oh my god this game is getting crazy.
And wow Plow, that's big of you to admit that sort of thing. Thanks dude.
That stiffarm is what separates humans from gods.
lolol wowowow fucking ecu
Wow @ that TD lol, that was soooooooooo close.
And Yay! Coin toss shit talking! This game has potential! lol
ROFL @ "What a heads-up play"
Haha. Big drive by Bama... oh wait. No. JPW got sacked, rofl. FROM THE LEFT SIDE. I said Andre Smith being gone would be huge, and the first possession of the game proved that. His replacement is okay, but he's no Top 3 Draft pick.
Almost a big fumble by Utah there on the punt return though.
