While I usually appreciate a good defense game I wanted to see these offenses do what they did all year. Texas averaged what? 44 points a game? Show me some offense! 6-3 first half was not what I expected or wanted. 26-23 is more like it! Although I did enjoy Lauranitis destroy people.

I did my picks in 10 minutes one night. I picked the Big 12 7-0, the Pac-10 2-3, only the teams that just couldn't justifiably be picked the other way, and the SEC 2-5.


They're going to outpick me by either 1 or 3 games out of 34.

I picked the big 12 to go 7-0. And the SEC and Pac-10 to do horribly.

As a Penn State fan, obviously I'm disappointed with their performance in the Rose Bowl and the Big 10s bowl record as a whole, but I think the conference did alright in spite of their record. They were over a touchdown underdog in every game except Iowa but still kept it close most of them. And while we haven't seen the national championship game yet, I think USC would have killed anyone they encountered in a bowl game so I don't feel terribly bad about Penn State slacking off in the first half of the Rose Bowl. GOD WHY COULDN'T THEY HAVE PLAYED PSU FOOTBALL INSTEAD OF 100 PENALTIES!!!!! IT WOULD HAVE BEEN SO MUCH BETTER!!!!!! Maybe the Florida/OU game will change my mind, but I doubt it.

God thank you for using this phrase correctly, earlier in the day I read someone who wrote, "for all intensive purposes" and I almost threw up in my mouth.

Anyway, I was so upset at the random Comcast fail on FFXI and a twelve-hour work day that I just fell asleep on the couch after the first couple series. Sounded like I missed a good one, I'll troll ESPN Classic this week on my DVR. Anyone think Texas should just play Utah right now, and the winner gets the winner of OU/Florida?
