Honestly right before the game, I thought about the fact that Charlie Weiss was coaching from the press box with weeks to prepare against Greg McMackin and kinda thought to myself "awwwwww shit."

I don't care who they were playing, ND looked fucking impressive last night. I hope that carries over to next year.
Also, dunno if anybody else caught it, but fucking LOL @ the golden showers.
Reminded me of a few weeks ago when my mom's gay friends that own a candy making shop kept telling everyone about how tired they were after having been up packing chocolate all night.
Look at our 2009 schedule:
Sept. 5 NEVADA
Sept. 12 at Michigan
Sept. 19 MICHIGAN STATE
Sept. 26 at Purdue
Oct. 3 WASHINGTON
Oct. 17 USC
Oct. 24 BOSTON COLLEGE
Oct. 31 Washington State (at San Antonio, TX)
Nov. 7 NAVY
Nov. 14 at Pittsburgh
Nov. 21 CONNECTICUT
Nov. 28 at Stanford
We better carry that performance over...for the most part, our schedule is weak as all hell and a 2008 record repeat is going to have the fat-man burned at the stake. There are quite a few games that will go under the title "take care of business".
I'll likely try to get USC tickets though and give myself the illusion we have a shot since going into that game 5-0 won't be out of the question (plus a BYE week, EXTRA PRACTICE! lol).
Depending on how quicky Sarkisian (sp?) turns around Washington, that could be a tough game. Schedule looks hit or miss. Could be really easy of really tough depending on if the programs can stay decent next season (Pitt, UCONN, BC, MSU, etc). Michigan could also be really good or really bad. Looks like a crapshoot to me.
On a related note, I foresee Plow and I taking the 2 last place spots in the pickem challenge.
Fucking lol, I did catch the golden showers comment, but my parents were in the room and I had to contain myself.
And I thought I had way more points on the ND/Hawaii game, kinda glad it was only 14. Need wins from Central Michigan tonight and WV tomorrow, or else you'll have company in the basement.
Hrm. I'll say wins are...

Nevada (I know about their Pistol offense), maybe, MAYBE @Michigan, depending on how RichRod recruits, Washington, Washington State, Navy, Stanford (probably), so wow. Only ~6 wins next year too. Ouch.
I don't think anyone should be overly worried, or overly confident for that matter at this point. We haven't gotten into the teams people actually give a shit about yet, really.
I'm awfully confident I'll pick up 150ish+ points from the big 12, although I wish I'd had opposite confidence rankings on the Mizzou and Tech games.
However I'm also starting to worry a little about USC. For some odd reason I just have a feeling Penn State is going to pull it off, similar to how I was feeling about TCU.
Did I manage to talk you down to 19 on the Texas Tech/Miss game. You (and many others) were incredibly fucking high on them before I called bullshit on it being a blowout (although maybe it was just the Harrel surgery). I mean shit, you have Oregon losing as a 33 confidence but tech just at 19. I'd assume the oregon game would be much closer than the Tech game (although I took a low confidence upset on Tech).
Hell. I kept Tech at 26 confidence, and Oregon at around 6, lol. I do like how Ole Miss is playing, but if Texas Tech comes out fired up like Mizzou did last year, I think they win by at least two scores.
I figured Plow would have Tech around 25+ and OSU around 15's.
Ahh. Well, I don't know. If Ole Miss can get the pressure on Harrell, I could see it being really tight, and Ole Miss possibly winning, but it all depends on if Texas Tech wants to go back to their "Let's not let anyone near him" ways. I mean let's face it.. Crabtree is probably coming out to the draft, and Harrell is a senior, right? So this is pretty much their last game.
All I have to say is fucking CMU, just further solidifies how much everything about Michigan sucks
rofl! So true. Thanks Rich Rod for showing up to the game and infecting CMU with your suck.
I saw that, Byrd. Ouch D: All of my complaining about not going higher with TCU/ND, I'm glad I went lower on CMU. I had them at 25ish before dumping em down to 18.
It's just hard to have too much faith in Tech.
They're going to romp though.
Mostly I'm just worried about Mizzou not giving a shit.
Oh, and as far as Oregon, every good offense they played scored 40ish+, every good defense they played (all 2 of em) held em under 20. This will be a statement game imo.
Texas should also be a pretty serious ass beating, barring Colt being accused of rape by some Ohio State alum the day before the game.
This UNC/WVU game is fucking insane. 21-16 with 11 minutes to go in the 2nd Quarter. Usually games like these, the defense catches up and finally stops someone, but jesus. Some huge plays today.
