I expect to see a scan of your Harvin/Spikes jersey when you get the chance to get photos. POIDH.

Wow nice. Who do you know to get access?
Ive been friends with spikes since we were kids I have a few jerseys, but I got harvin/teebow jerseys signed last night, ill get my sisters digital camera when I get homes and take pictures for you ;o
TEBOW GAWD DAMNIT ;; Lol.
Told you I spell how I want.
Wow very nice. As a UGA fan i'm jealous lol. Damn.
Maclin just announced he's going to the draft.
Lol, Mizzou's back to suck next year.
They won't get Randle, I doubt he'll want to play second fiddle to Julio Jones for two years. I actually saw he was going to visit Auburn sometime in the next couple weeks.
Insanely jealous, Gainesville's had as good of a run in major college sports as I can remember. Grats man, live the dream.
Yeah. Not sure exactly when he's going. It says on Rivals that he's visiting Alabama on the 16th though. I have no fucking clue why a WR of his caliber would want to go to Auburn though. Auburn has no QB to throw him the ball. Granted if Auburn had a stud receiver like Julio Jones, it'd make the pass game a LITTLE easier, but I don't see Auburn finishing above .500 next year, so I doubt he'd want to there.
IMO, it's between LSU as it's his own state, USC just because he'd get a lot of attention out there, and probably Oklahoma because you know you'll get tons of attention in a big offense like OU's in the Big 12. I agree that he probably won't go to Alabama since he'd be behind Julio Jones, but can you imagine putting Randle on one side, and Jones on the other?
My only problem I think is he's been hurt, so I don't know what he'll do. It'll be interesting in these months to say the least.
Also, one of many reviews about FOX's horrible performance in the BCS National Championship game.
"Assumptions one should not make about this game: 1) Bob Stoops always loses big bowl games. Untrue. By the record, he only loses 66% of them. 2) All Big 12 defenses are uniformly awful. Inaccurate. This proves only that the defenses Oklahoma faces are uniformly awful, which means all Big 12 defenses save Oklahoma, which kept Florida's offense in check for most of the game. 3) Fox puts on an incompetent broadcast. No. Incompetent doesn't cover how inept their clodfooted work on the BCS has been."
If I can imagine the Cubs winning the World Series, I can imagine pretty much anything. I'm really trying to temper my expectations for Bama next season though, like I said I want to wait until the deadline to declare for the NFL draft has come and gone.
We're almost to my favorite sports part of the year, February-March is just so good. Commitments come rolling in for college football, Bracketology starts heating up and then of course the tourney, the NHL season is winding down, we get weekly Mel Kiper draft scuttlebutt, and my girlfriend and I head to Arizona for Spring Training. :D
Haha, yeah. It's an okay part of the year.
In other news, Brighthouse Cable seems to have picked up the MLB Network. WRONG NETWORK! I hope they get the NFL Network next year.
I'm curious of any other Bama kids that want to go to the draft. From last year when they had no on drafted, it'll be a big change this year.
I couldn't agree with these two paragraphs more. As I'm not as smart as you big guys when it comes to the other NCAA stuff in this thread, I can only comment on what I saw last night and when it comes to my team. I was watching this terribly commentated game with about fifteen other people last night, and so many times we just were like "WHAT are you talking about!?" The best one was on third down when they said, "IT'S DECISION MAKING TIME!" and it was like 3 & 6 or something like that. Fucking dumb.
Another thing was that again, like Bregor said the officiators were just not too good last night. When the Gators got penalized for Murphy (pretty sure it was Murphy..) pointing towards the first down line, and we got an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty...what?? I can totally understand Tebow's penalty for chomping the Sooners, but being happy you got a first down? C'mon that was silly!
Anyway, it was a really great time in Gainesville last night. University Ave. was packed as much as ever as when we win National Championships, and it was so much fun. People were just screaming it's Great to be a Florida Gator and Oranggggeeeee......Bluuuueeee until realllllly late. I'll be sad if Tebow and Harvin do leave for the draft, especially Percy, but I wish them luck in whatever and if they decide to come back for one more season, then next year will be fucking great.
ACC represent!
Crabtree reported to be leaving now too.
After Tebow's uncertain comments last night, if he was going to be back i think he would have been "Oh no doubt, im staying another year"...i personally think hes gone.
Alabama isnt losing a lot of players, but after yet another late season slide I question if they havnt hit a ceiling as to where they can perform, and took advantage of a SEC West that was obviously down on the whole. Ole Miss WILL be serious business next year, and LSU has shown they're coming back now too.
For the East, Florida will obviously be back but losing Harvin might hurt. They've got the playmakers to fill in, but if Harvin and Tebow both go...that backup QB of theirs has zero to no experience...and a team like Florida needs a leader behind center, not someone just throwing passes.
Don't count UGA out either. I know im a massive homer, but if you think about it, UGA has had star players working with a team these past 2 years, and next year we're looking at having a team working with star players...which are 2 different things. Cox is more accurate and consistant than Stafford, but lacks the "Big Play" factor Stafford had. I wouldnt be surprised if Cox splits snaps with Gray 80-20, and all our returning defensive and OL people...and Rennie Curran...back it should come down to Jax once again. Don't expect Tennessee and Vandy to be serious again, though Kentucky might be a sleeper. And on top of that, we've scored some big recruits away from Florida and other SEC/ACC schools too who will immediately be used on defense.
Big XII, shouldnt change much outside of losing TT as a power. Mizzou seems done, Kansas is losing their QB i think, Texas has their offensive back and Oklahoma is primed to lose the Fiesta Bowl again, or win the Cotton Bowl...their choice.
I am counting Georgia out because I care. Joe Cox or gtfo.
I think Tebow will return. I heard the cut last night when they asked him if he was returning and he said "Ah yes, I mean no, I don't know yet..." Freudian slip.
Well thanks! I like to think I'm smart, and I do know I carry the delicious cake.
I sort of kind of agree with you Kirin on some points, but I don't think Bama truly hit their ceiling. They had 9 Seniors, and started I believe 14-15 freshmen at one point. They have yet to hit their ceiling. It wasn't a "late season slide" to lose the SEC Championship and Sugar Bowl. It was just two badly placed bad games, lol.
I doubt Tebow and Harvin go out. Their team is primed for another National Title next year. I wouldn't understand their decision to go out, especially since Tebow knows he won't be anything but a factor back.
