SCH pretty much have minimal skill+ gears, or MAB gears.

Their endgame gears setup are more or less some combination of the Goliard set, AF and Yigit, with some random pieces to fill in the blanks.

They lack access to morrigan, zenith, oracle, and nashira.

I figured Stormsurge would be +1 to each merit after the initial, still good enough to max though. I will probably be going 5/5 Stormsurge and 5/5 Enlightenment, depending on how crappy the other ones are. As for AF2, while I would love the body to have refresh on I can see them doing another enhances sublimation effect for 4/tick with hat at best, but I might be wrong(hopefully!)

Even at +7, thats HUGE for a freebie; though for 220k exp +15 would be =^.^= I dont see this really increasing invite rates for Meripo (melee) though +7 str and ~+10 damage per hit is nice; lack of haste is sad. Manaburn invite rate should skyrocket; mages tend to go crazy on the whole "you can make ice obi work all the time? AND give me Cream puff level int AND I can still eat a cream puff for more int??!?!?"

Maybe if you're soloing or in a small group. But if you're in a group of five/six, you don't need cookies. It then becomes one big dickwaving contest.

Then again, I've seen some "Fuck you!" BLMs that just hang around to screw with other groups despite being invited to tag along, anyway.

5 BLM + 1 BRD at puddings with no competition and smart blms = high chains. My record there in such a group was chain 19 but I'm sure it's possible to go higher. Cookies are about speeding shit up. The less time you spend resting the more time you can spend making things die faster, and the faster your xp gain will be. They die in like four good nukes anyway, adding more damage to that isn't going to help at all.

Of course your likelyhood of getting this situation is very low. I've only had that sort of group once myself, but I have had some good 5 blm + 1 rdm groups that manage around chain 11-12 when there was no competition.

Ah, I remember some people were talking about using Voidstorm to reduce the damage from Citadel Buster, so I thought it might be dependant on the magical spell target's weather effect.

The logic behind this isn't too farfetched though. I've often wondered myself, if casting a storm on myself had the chance to reduce damage of an opposing element by 10%. Does anyone know if this has been tested in depth?

I have groups that chain 13/14 no problem with 5 BLMs (or 1 SCH 4 BLM) that hit up 2 puddings -> 2 Trolls (w/ Puppet) -> mass puddings.

That and bounce back up faster after finishing the chain. That's the point. Rest a tick or two after chain 4 too, it really helps <3

We have tried the voidstorm on CB in limbus for an entire run and di not notice any difference with it on the tanks. This was only for one run though, and CB only went off three times. We haven't bothered since though, our sch got sent back to the blm party to buff them instead.

The body would have been their best nuking gear, BUT I GUESS MORGANA IS GOOD ENOUGH SINCE SCH DOESN'T NEED MACC WITH THEIR ELEMENTAL SKILL.
