Yeah as i guessed, looks meh, i havent done the maths but i have a feeling that delay is going to mess up a 6 hit setup without having to make sacrifices or wear the fugly cuirass, or maybe both

At another quick glance, it's 3% less delay than the Thal/Mez, which means it would be like wearing a permanent sword(?) strap (the -delay one), which means yeah, you need Aurum to compensate. (if I remember my calculations correctly, askar's lack of ACC made it less viable when switching from homam)

Expect the AH to be flooded with like 100 dabos in a day or two.
At least the low delay and accuracy makes it a good skillup polearm, lol.

IF it stacks with AF hands. If not, hands are better since they also enhance maneuvers. DUN GET TOO EXCITED, REMEMBER THIS IS A LEVEL 5 ITEM. It could do the exact same thing pre-AF.

With the following gear you can barely make 6-hit on a 478 delay polearm, but it's definitely sacrificing too much for a situationally useful weapon. You would need to full-time each piece listed for it to work.

- 12.9% TP Base
- 15 /SAM
- 5 Rajas Ring
- 1 Brutal Earring
- 7 Aurum Cuirass
- 1 Ecphoria Ring
- 1 White Tathlum
- Total 30 Store TP

Yeah, not like it would completely negate the effects of the AF hands to wear both...

If anything, having more options in gear that can help restrict the chance of overload kinda cheapens the relative value of Kenkonken...

Not that I would care though, I'm no DRG, and DRG has better options. If a SAM or WAR wanted to take polearm for a spin on birds, they could've already done it before this update with better weapons.

Redundant and rather pointless weapons ftw, right SE? I was so hoping the ixion horn will be used for something better, but here's hoping SE introduces more than just one recipe for the horn.

Nah, saying that SE /would/ be retarded to do that... and there's no reason not to use both. Even if the effects don't stack, it'll be a while before I find the time to really do some tests on overloading.
