Update has a bunch of minor fixes and added a few new overall fixes/implementations to teh game that were needed. But nothing strong on the "new content" side of things... Though it does explain the lack of "update preview" notes that were published this time around and the time inbetween each new info tidbit

Xarc missions they recommend level 42-46 for.

How do parties work with FoV? Can you level sync, so, say someone in their 50s or 60s can do Xarc?

MMM and FoV are suppose to be the two biggest changes, MMM being the more "content" side. Without MMM the update is going to look very small. Actually it is already a smaller than usual update with MMM.

EDIT: Looks to be a healthy in the size of Missions though.

OK, 5 of us level synched to 18 in the dunes and did one there. I was 22 pLD, tibi was 66 DNC etc
Gives you missions to kill mobs. We had 6 snippers and 2hill lizards. We all signed up.

Once complete it immediately gives you your gil/xp and tabs. Pic to follow asap.

We got 500 xp, 500g and 50 tabs each. For a Page 3 15-22 recommended mission.

Has anyone found the NPC to warp to WG from Jeuno? It wasn't the guy in Tenshodo. It might be the Lure of the Wildcat guy, but I haven't done that quest.

Edit: nvm, reread the update notes. Need the Wildcat quest done. He's in Upper Jeuno near the HP crystal wearing Nashira.

I was thinking of the console players, mostly. =( I'll continue to use BlinkMeNot once it's fixed just because it allows for other things, like /follow not breaking and such.

Anyone find anything bork? A friend is saying xbow delay is messed up.

I can confirm this. Something about it seems really slow. I thought it was just a glitch with the animation when i first logged in but it seems to be persisting.

Bow seems to be slower as well.

I forget about console players from time to time. Which is strange, considering that I occasionally brag to people about how FFXI is the first multi-platform, multinational MMO.

I use it purely for the fun factor of putting on a scythe then switching to kraken. It's fucking hilarious when you're swinging it around like a cheerleader.
