NPCs will take defensive action against aggressors, but during that time will be unable to dispense items. Should they become incapacitated in the course of battle, a replacement will be dispatched after a certain amount of time has elapsed.

I find this cute for some reason.

While under the effect of Level Sync or any other form of level restriction, attack delays for crossbows can no longer be faster than 216.

The Reraise effect granted by certain spells and items will no longer be removed by magic and abilities such as Dispel and Voidsong.

I fail to see how decent NPC'able items is a problem. Gil has to come from somewhere, given that it's tossed away on hourglasses, Limbus fees, storage fees, teleportation fees, etc. Or sat on by a minority of players.

Does SE even account for the fact that RMT methods of making gil = any player's potential methods of making gil?

Drop rates on Zvahl stuff is typically shitty without TH4 anyway.

I've done campaign enough to know what to do to get EXP and that's about it. I'm not familiar with NPC aalies and other stuff about it, but I can see from a distance that more and more tweaks to NPC part of campaign will turn this into nothing more than how gambits were in FF12. Reducing if not completely minimizing people's input into campaign.

Maybe that's why the war was lost in the first place. HA

The locations of outpost warp NPCs in San d'Oria, Windurst, and Bastok have been changed as follows:
Northern San d'Oria (D-9) -> Northern San d'Oria (K-9)
Bastok Metalworks (F-8) -> Bastok Mines (K-8)
Port Windurst (D-5) -> Port Windurst (L-4)

You know, I would not be surprised if they change the NPC location and not the actual warp location, throwing all of my excitement for this out the window.

I just don't get it. Is it really that bad to get something from NPCing some items? Isn't this common practice in certain other MMOs? I'm not saying FFXI should be like other MMOs, but it's not even common practice here!
