I wouldn't surprised if I get laughed out of this thread, but reckon treasure hunter may increase the pop rate of chests? Could be viewed in a way as another drop from mobs

Its safe to say no, no it doesnt, and i want to kill something.

Went back as SMN just to get the satisfaction of using Flaming Crush on skeletons and ended up getting 3 chests withing abotu 1hour, Nothing good in any of them.

I'm having horrible luck, before i started farming in Xarc i went to Valkurm as my SCH(27) to do a bunch of FoV, killed a total of 30 mobs on my SCH and didnt get a single chest.

From what i have seen and tested with a friend, being a THF or having TH means NOTHING to getting chests to drop. I was on 75 nin/rdm and friend was on thf/nin. I got roughly 5:1 chests more then more (not even kidding). He went and switched to his sam to kill things (sam/war i think, not sure) and he was still getting bad drop rates. On Sam he might of gone to like a 3:1 ratio but i think it is totally random drop rate.

has anyone come up with a value for the potency on the subligar? being lvl 25, i'm afraid there's a good chance it will be exceptionally weak offering a very marginal boost to acc.

I like that fact that people who are bad at math (hint: most people) are able to open way fewer locked chests than those who know how to maximize their chances.

And I hate the fact that Thfs, who are supposed to be the most skilled job at opening locks, get shafted by the way tools work on these chests.

Is it normal to go like 0/50 or so on getting anything other than meds/trash in locked caskets across multiple zones?

also a nice note for the h2h(Custodes) the enpara was procing very often, but the actual paralyze never proced once in the next 2 clippers i killed(on 26MNK/DNC) and also wore off very quickly. i'll test it some more later


edit: i also saw a SS of a pup or drg or something getting the pet subligar and shouting for someone to get another pair from the chest i think? can anyone confirm that multiple of the r/ex drops can spawn in 1 chest yet? my box only came with 1 custodes

No.

I've done a little multitasking and managed to kill Dodo 6 times since the update, while killing around the Sauro for chests. I'm now 1/6 on Dodo, and 0/72ish chests in Sauro ALONE.

Now that I think about it I don't really need the subligar at all. It's just a sense of getting SOMETHING THAT ISN'T A MAPLE LOG OR POTION+3 that I desire.

idk, poisonga and then autotarget with kraken on kidna obliterates everything without needing to deploy every 6 seconds.

I've been farming the casket for quite awhile for the Gothic Gauntlets, has anyone tried these out? Was thinking it would be cool for my SAM/DNC if the Ice Spikes proc rate is decent. Otherwise I'll save myself some time.
