lolguilt
I seriously don't have that emotion.
id turn that in too probably =/
first of all why is there 97k in a fucking bathroom, and 2nd. how do you get that out without looking uber suspicious lol
Pay off my student loans, get me a decent car, and save the rest for savings or something.
I'd be house hunting, that 97k would be 200k in a couple of years.
Having a conscience is a crutch.
The guy that lost it? Darwinism, clearly.
and hope to god you pay it all in cash. By law if you make any deposit over a certain amount (i think it's 10g's, but could be a bit higher) the bank has to report that to the feds. Last thing I would want to see at 7am is a couple of men in black suits and sunglasses knocking on my door.
Bank it slowly, spend alot. Win
I would keep it.
Isn't it against the law to not return that much money? Pretty sure you can get into a lot of trouble, like jail time.
that would buy so many baconators
I would have kept the money and as I walk outside I get shot by mobsters
but seriously I would have kept it so I can paid off my students loans. I just don't understand humanity sometimes. Something that was given to you by luck take it.
apparently it was an elderly woman's bag. wtf
I'm a firm beleiver of finders keepers
The problem with this finders keepers thing is that you can stretch it thin enough to make it acceptable to do what is tantamount to stealing.
It's pretty obvious that the major difference between finding something and keeping it when it doesn't belong to you and stealing something by force from someone is that you can't usually get in trouble for the first thing. For anyone who hasn't internalized that stealing is wrong, then i'm sure they have no problem keeping this much money to themselves.
Murfreesboro, eh? That always makes me think of these fine gentlemen and their magnificent music.
That aside, if that woman didn't give a reward, she sucks.
