The Giants are a great team, but I don't think they are in the top 3; everyone else seems to have them at #1, and to me that is a bit overrated. They will lose to Dallas this week.
LOL BREES GOOD JOB MR. MVP. lawl. INT on the 9 yardline!

Who do you put in the top 3 over the Giants?
The Ravens? Clearly you didn't see the week they played the Giants. Nevermind how the Giants beat Pitt @ Pitt, Philly In Philly, smoked Dallas, beat Arizona in Arizona, beat the Skins twice, and absolutely obliterated the lolRams and played the worst game they've played since November of 2007 and only lost by 6 points to Philly. I really don't see how you can put the Ravens in there, Flacco is good I think, and has the potential to be great imo with a few years in the league, but he looked absolutely fucking awful last week. Eli already got his complete stinker out of him this season against the Browns, which despite the score, was actually a close game until Eli started throwing the ball right to Browns.
Edit: My top 3. Giants, Titans, Panthers. First two require no explanation, Panthers I put in over Pitt. simply because even though Delhomme is pretty much a bum, they do at least have an offense, where as Pitt. looks absolutely pathetic on offense nearly all year.
Indy would beat the fuck out of the Panthers now.....lol
I look at it like this, if Manning has an off day, and I don't mean completely terrible, but if he doesn't have a damn good game, Indy will lose. You can not win a Superbowl without a damn good D the way the current defenses in the league are. Bold'd because of how true this. The panthers at least have a somewhat formidable defense.
My top 5.
Titans
Steelers
Giants
Colts
then I don't know after that... Pick any of the following...Panthers, Ravens, Cowboys, Eagles....
No chance, Titans are pretenders, Colts would be a good game.Do you seriously think the Titans, Colts, etc wouldn't beat the absolute fuck out of Dallas? LOL
When Indy won the Superbowl weren't their D absolutely horrible during the regular season but did pretty damn well in the playoffs?
I don't agree with my room mate that the Colts are that good but I also don't agree with your comment either.
Say what... Oh well keep on hatin!

You also didn't have 5 teams with super elite defenses like you do this year in The Giants, The Ravens, The Steelers, The Titans, The Bucs, and maybe even the Jets if they can get their shit together.
And I'm not ruling out Indy as a Superbowl contender, I'm just nitpicking at this point, and I just feel Carolina has a more complete team.
Way to blow a first half blowout lead Bears.
This is the reason I like indy right now. They are playing terrible (I use terrible in a comparison to themselves sense) on offense and the defense is starting to step up. If that offense gets going, they are going to be a tough tough out in the playoffs. Until/unless they get the running game going though, I don't see them going into Pitt and winning again, or into Nashville and stealing one. These close gritty games certainly hasn't been hurting them though.
I think the Colts D was near dead last, so yes, you can. The chances of Manning having a good game compared to a bad game is odds I'll take anyday.
The point is that Indy's defense is so weak that they can't afford for their offense to have an off game, especially since most teams in the play offs are going to have a great D. I agree when you have Payton at QB, the game is almost never over, but you have to be kidding me if you think this Indy team can hold a candle to their teams of just a few years prior.
Its too bad we are comparing them to other teams in the league and not their own team of previous years....lol.
I get that but with that said I still don't see how you can put them in the top 3 at this point in the season.
Damn good game on NFLN
