English only server

I seen questions asked to jp about a jp only server, but i don´t remenber whats the opinion on a english if ppl whant a english only server.
This come to mind because of wotg missions that remind me the hatred i have for must jps, as i stand there wave after wave of jp and i ask if i can join and they don´t even have dignity to aswer me

If there were an english only server, I wouldn't go to it because I think it'd be pretty dumb. I doubt the OP would get to go to it either, but that one may not be by his choice.

Well... it doesn't matter either way, because:

1) Has been requested years ago. Devs categorically refused, stating they wanted players of all ethnicities to work together. They also appear not to realize how the Japanese players don't give a shit the most.

2) Every server is already BOTH a NA and JP only server. Because JP players will refuse to take on anyone else unless the event in question is ridiculously simplistic (like a merit pt). So there is already, for the most part, language based segregation.

Also of note is that JP Primetime happens to be 12 hours away from NA prime time, so your also time segregated, hence players complaining about nms being pushed into JP time, which means they dont have hte player base online to compete for the claim.

Many people have had bad experiences, myself included when you get the /spam checker and such, but I've gotten a lot of help from JP players. I can't say I'd like an English only server, at least this way I can only understand what half of the idiots are saying.

I always liked the idea (on any game) where you take mandatory IQ test (and subsequent English test) before you're allowed to see any servers to play on. Your English skills and IQ level will let you have access to certain servers and ban you from others. In short, basically keep the stupid people on stupid servers.

It'd help FFXI and, really, it'd help many other types of online games.
