Does anybody have any good recommendations for a movie making program?
I'm looking to take pictures/videos I've taken over the years and make a slideshow with them. Was wondering if anybody has any tips of which software works best. Thanks.

Windows Movie Maker? iMovie? (depending on which platform you have). Shouldn't take much to do what you're talking about.
if you aren't planning to make a long movie which over 10mins. Window Movie Maker should be the best.
else, try to find some way to get adobe premiere pro which good for beginner in my opinion. Maybe you can give flash for a try if you just want a slide show for picture with music only. The only problem maybe getting the source of these software. The learning of these program will only took like 3-5hrs then you are done with the basic.
There's Premiere Elements, which may be the better option if you're actually staying legal, but want to buy something. Going that route, the bundle with Photoshop Elements is prolly the way to go.
Should be other free options out there too though, just don't usually use 'em myself. This site VideoHelp.com - Forum, Guides, Tools and hardware lists is usually good for finding programs though.
Movie Maker does it for me since it's simple and gets to the point with some decent amount of options and effects. I guess for a more advanced user or something with more options I would go with Adobe Premiere?
Thanks for all the tips. I've tooled around with Windows Movie Maker before and it seemed like a good start. I wasn't sure what other alternatives there were.
