Snow...in Texas?

[Stromgarde]

I got a call from my sister earlier today, she took her last final at Blinn and was heading home. She was really excited, and there was 2-3 inches of snow when she got back home near Houston too... which is really weird, since it's usually 7 years or so between snows, and never that much while I lived there.

[Mizango]

Its Texas, there will be post cards, commercials and they wills till talk about this day in 2037. I still have to listen to my inlaws talk about the one time in snowed in 2005. They STILL sell post cards of that shit >.>

wat?

[Kaylia]

Snow isn't that exciting, you guys are weird.

PS: I love how people can blame global warming either way. See! Theres no such thing as global warming, it's not warm enough to stop it from snowing! See! There is such a thing as global warming, it's warm enough to melt the ice to cause it to snow in wierd places!

...

(or I'm being whooshed?)

[Tonko]

Snowed in San Antonio too, was very pretty, big fluffy flakes

[Vandole]

its supposed to snow here in MS tomorrow.

Man i hope it does.

[Delayed]

This was at around 820, got another few inches on my car, threw a few snowballs and we ended up with about 2 inches on the grass here.
I'm in NE Houston. Cool thing to see snow around here until you drive and realise peopel can't drive in the Snow.
Accidents on alot of bridges causing the smart drivers to waste their time and go the logn way around home

[Vade]

Yeah it snowed back in 2005, was pretty exciting for a Houston Christmas Eve. The scary thing about snow in Texas...people don't know how to drive in it.

[HAcoreRD]

only rain here in CT. one minor snow fall this winter so far (2 inch, fluffy)

[Exoduso]

GLOBAL WARMING, ZOMG right? RITE?

LIGHT THE AL GORE BEACON

[Kyo]

Probably too busy chasing Manbearpig.

[Akucaen]

It was snowing here in Tyler last night. Made me so happy.

[Tearshang]

Oh man It's snowing here in Southern Louisiana right now. My whole neighborhood is either outside trying to play in it or taking pictures. lol It's the weirdest thing it's my first snow like this D:

[Dimmauk]

Yeah it went from 73 degrees to 30 degrees with sleet here in San Antonio the other day. My wife said it was global warming, but I think it felt like global cooling.

[Stiker]

Dallas hasn't gotten any snow. Had a bit of sleet Tuesday night, but that was it. I'm surprised we didn't get any. Last year we got some winter mix and the year before a decent amount of snow IIRC.

[Demisses]

considering it was in the 70s the day before the cold front hit and snow the next morning was pretty unusual. by the time i got outside it had all melted but my aunt sent me pics
edit: thats here in bertram about 40 miles north of austin

Yeah the weather has been the typical Texas crazy. Went from 30, up to 70 back down to 30 again.

OMG THE SUN LOOK GAIZ!!!

It's fucking snow, get over it already. Already getting the "OMG IT SNOWED DOWN HERE" calls. It's like listening to a virgin explain his first time having sex over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again.

People wear shorts on Christmas here in Texas. ITS ALWAYS FUCKING HOT HERE! It very rarely snows in San Antonio, and when it does the entire city shuts down LOL.

[Demisses]

I just moved back from fucking Alaska. I am bitch ass tired of snow and I really don't want it here in Texas. Who is crying? We are just saying it doesn't happen every year......
