I had a friend that had a Malamute, and gosh damn it was huge. Slightly over 100 lbs if I remember correctly, and looked bigger cause of its fur.

Strangely it was terrified to go indoors. It would just lie on the floor and whine if they brought it into the house.

more preventative care and symptom suppression than anything, but yeah no cure like you said. Luckily my lab was underweight growing up so that saved him from ever getting it. It's just best you get it to a vet asap so the dog can be under their care early and help reduce it's chances of getting the disease.

Drove from SF to LA and back in one day to get her, good lord that sucked.

She's cute as fuckin' hell but god yes she's a pain in my ass. House-breaking is going a lot faster than we expected, but we are still trying to expose her to all the shit we don't want her to be afraid of/weird about/etc. (water, strangers, other animals, vacuums) by bombarding her with treats at the same time. 7 weeks old and the worst thing by far is her wretched crying when she can't see us or are simply on the other side of the baby gate from her. It'll be a long few first weeks for sure.

Funniest part is we didn't know anyone at our apartments, everyone seemed like assholes until they walk by and we're playing/walking the puppy. Now we're best pals with all our neighbors... Babe magnet for sure. Oh ya, cute pics incoming. Sleeping in my mom's arms is kinda' ridiculous. I have one of her sleeping completely on her back with her chewtoy still in her mouth somewhere...

Ok so... new puppy and I took him to my parents house for the first time today. I put him down for like 30 seconds while I put his crate together. I get up to go get him and crate him and I couldnt find him. I walked around for like 5 minutes looking for him. I walk by the kitchen window, he had managed to find the doggy door and get outside and into the pool and was doing laps lol.

Fucking dog has a personality.

Not really a pet, but caught this little guy in my house this morning. Opossum get really ugly as they get older, but this one is still pretty young and I thought he was sort of cute.
