Tatsunoko vs. Capcom

Finally a reason to dust off the Wii. Just got the game today and its amazing, way above my expectations for it. First I thought being on the Wii they were going to really dumb this game down but that didn't really happen. This is another great edition to the VS series. Kinda sucks with Gamecube controllers, but the Classic controllers work better. Also is one of the best looking games too. I am having a lot more fun with this then I did with Brawl, but then I played a ton of the Capcom fighters on DC so this is my kind of game.

Right now I am playing Morrigan and Ryu mostly, but trying the new chars out to see who I like at the moment.

I find it interesting that you'd say the Classic Controller is better. I can't really use it because if I use both analog thumbs at the same time and ever have to point them inward/near one another, my thumbs bump together (and I don't even have really long fingers). Of course, I imagine you're using the D-Pad, although I don't know if TvsC accepts that (but I'd be surprised if it didn't).

My Wii knowledge is pretty limited as I never use the damn thing for anything but Brawl, but is the game region locked? If I just have a standard US Wii could I import this and be able to play it? I've been QQing over this game and the lack of an American release date for a while. I'd always assumed that it wasn't really an option for me.

Definitely not buying a Wii but I really, really want to play this game.
Not really into arcade game emulation but this game is going to make me get into it.

You can play as Ameratsu from Okami. Yami is the final boss.

I would give anything to play this game. I hope to God Capcom of America pulls through on this shit, or I might have to learn how to do softmodding, something I'd really prefer not to do

Watched someone play it earlier and the game looks fun as hell. AI seemed kind of shitty, he was destroying them on the hardest setting with no problem, with the exception of one fight where he got destroyed by some insane combo.

Not importable without a modchip of some sort, is it? Shame we'll likely never see this get an English release.

Also, I read on /v/ that Yami is incredibly hard to fight as Gold Lightan, since none of his supers work on Yami.

I am pretty sure Amaterasu isn't in the game. I already unlocked both Capcom secret characters and it was Saki and Viewtiful Joe.

Also you don't need a mod chip to play this game. All you need Zelda and a SD card, to install the Homebrew channel and Gecko OS or Starfall or one of the many other programs that load imports.
