Yeah if you reserve it at gamestop you get early access, basicaly a week ahead of time, everyone else should have full access by next Thursday.

That would make sense yeah, never understood early access to demo's, it turns people off to your game.

Well i won a free code to download the demo early from the @brutallegend twitter account. It is already downloaded and sitting on my 360. I have not had time to try it out yet. hopefully tonight!

I downloaded and played the demo via the 360 a few days ago. I enjoyed it. considering moneys tight at the moment I'll probably wait a few months for it to go down in price before picking it up.

sent this tip into Joystiq a few minutes ago, may already be old news, but I find it to be pretty cool.

With the release of the Brutal Legend demo on the October 1st PSN Store update there is a neat little "feature" if you do not Press Start after loading the demo. Let the screen run and you can listen to the entire (?) Brutal Legend soundtrack. I've been letting it run for about 30min+ and I've heard about 7-8 different tracks without repeats. Also, if you don't load the demo and just let the preview run on the XBM, Jack Black will run-off one liners about mosh pits.

EDIT: appears only 45-60min or so of the soundtrack is included with the demo. just got my 1st repeat.

Played the Demo last night. Was awesomesauce. Will definitely be picking this up. I was worried about Jack Black's character, but he pulled it off extremely well from what I saw in the demo. This looks to be a great game.

yea i have been warry bout this, as im not huge metal fan.

but it seems to get things right, notably the start where basicly they say new rock sux ass, which it does.
the touge and cheek humor seems to work rather well, and yea the demo ended and i actualy wanted to play more.
as long as they can keep the combat fresh and not have it get stale then ill prolly pick this up.

Tbh October is probably the worst month for me of the holiday season-- R&C, Alpha Protocol, Nostalgia, some Wii games for my upcoming purchase/piracy, etc. Too bad that Risen for 360 was pushed back til next year, it was supposed to be out this month too.

Well the good news is alpha protocol prob wont be out till next summer, so that knocks that off your list at least.

I like brutal legend alot but Ill prob still end up waiting for it to go on sale as well. It is said to be around 20 hrs by Schafer, so I can wait on it.
