Auto-Translate Player Suggestions

At one point during an interview, a Square developer mentioned that they can add only so many translate terms, but that feedback from players is helpful to discern which are useful and which aren't. So what terms would you like to have available in auto-translate, and which do you think are not worth having? Some of my personal suggestions:

Useful Terms to Add:
-Merit, and
-Auto-Translate. Why these aren't available I don't know.
-"Detects by Job Ability" may be handy for when you're skulking around flans or flayers.

Useless Terms; all of the shadowreign "front" regions, no one will ever use them when you can just use an actual zone name instead.
-Audience
-Gordeus
-Outing
-User Glossary
-war climate details
-Theoligan
-Hat Shop
-Jewelry Store (simply Equipment Vendor would be better)
-Restaurant
-Cabin
-Onion
-Sightseeing (apparently some people use this to imply a CS, maybe useful)
-Stage

There's a lot of terms that just aren't used very often but that have at least some conceivable use or are legit game terms. The list above are just the ones that seem the most pointless.

I use Outing everytime im going out, so does everyone else in my shell, JP or NA.

take out "Onion"!? are you mad, how can we lable those crazy onion headed tarus, you know the ones that are the CRAZIEST of all tarus

I do agree there are some lame auto-trans, heck most of the /emotes that auto-trans are the same thing in other languages

We use "Sightseeing" when staying to watch an HNM fight or wandering around, "outing" is used often, and we use the front names for sandworm camping a lot, esp "The Sarutabaruta front," on the JP side - i assume it's easier to access via tab or something. Cutscenes they usually use "event," not "sightseeing."

We also have a member whose name is Restera and call her "restaurant".. ;P

Ah yes, Wide Scan is one I forgot. Wide Scan, is a good idea because the abbreviation is WS which is obviously confusing. Promathia, Relic WS', Amount, and On the Way would be useful too. I'm pretty sure "Why?" is there but I might be wrong.

It's not, I completely forgot about Why? not being in there, it's bugged me for years.

I always figured it was something to do with JPs never questioning things people told them to do or something, but yes not having "Why?" available is incredibly irritating.

Hate/Enmity Termology would be good.
Magic Burst.
Doom/Doomed isn't neccessary as Death covers it. {Death} {Cursna} {Yes, please.}
Aggro.
As far as the emphasis on sneaking by mobs. {Sneak} {Invisible} {Please check it} {Hastega} {Yes, Please}.
Wide Scan. God yes.
Also, change {Sell?} into {Will you sell it?} Or {Want to buy}/{Looking to purchase}. I grew up with the whole people shouting WTS/WTB.

That's all I can name off hand.

Though, what's a proper term for aggro?

All mission / Assault / Etc names, id settle with just assault names.

I'd like to see the names of the Regions (Gustaberg, Kolshushu, Li'Telor, etc.). For some reason I find myself often trying to half-type them and hit [Tab] and I am always surprised when they don't pop up.

Seconded on the "Good Luck!" That is easily translated to the Japanese "頑張って！" (Gannbatte!) which is their functional equivalent, but translates better as "Do your best!"

Normal "yes" and "no" would be nice.
Also "can you do it?" "I can/I can't", it would be a change from seeing "Can I have it" all the time.

"Wide scan".

A word for "tank" (or shield) and "kiting" (or marathon).

Nyzul terminology: each objective, words like "lamp", "order" "simultaneously"...

I'd like to have "Yoroshiku onegaishimasu" and "Otsukaresama deshita" in Japanese but I don't know if it's possible to find phrases that have a close meaning in English...
