It would be nice if there was some sort of way to say you are changing characters, muling, etc.

Here here for all of this.
"Yorosiku" is actually translated from {Nice to meet you.} This is the reason JPs get confused when NA/EU use it at the END of a party, lol.
I don't know what the JP equivalents are, but I've seen Japanese players use {Good job!} and {See you again!} at the end of parties. These are likely "Yoku dekimasita!" and "Mata ne!".
Does anyone know of a list that shows the JP equivalents of all the autotranslate items?
I figured it was because "why?" always needs a more detailed answer than the other w's, so it'd be harder to answre in auto translate. If you can't answer in auto translate it's not all that useful to be able to ask in auto translate.
Didn't read the whole thread but "level" would be nice to add, and still bothers me that "Blue Magic" isn't in there. But hey, if we don't need <Blue Magic> auto translate why not just get rid of the others? Apart from seacoms saying you've got +16 <Elemental Magic> there's not really a lot of use for them.
Edit: And has anyone suggested to SE to change the way /check translates? It's pretty sad they made it so JP get a line basically saying "I'm stalking you" anytime they're checked.
Please god add "Maybe" so these idiots will stop using [May] [Bee]. Do they really think that translates to maybe? Are people honestly that fucking stupid?
IF they add "Why?" they better add "Because." as well.
Assault and Quest names would be nice. Might be too many quests, but Assaults would be good. Also, Expansion Names:
"Rise of the Zilart," "Chains of Promathia," "Treasures of Aht Urhgan," "Wings of the Goddess" might make shouting for missions easier, although the abbrevations got adopted pretty easily.
muling = {Jumping to new area.} {/logout}
but i would really like to see widescan.
From my limited Japanese knowledge, I think it would be very difficult for SE to add "how many?" and "maybe" because the Japanese grammar for the two is very different than the English grammar is. Japanese uses different counters for different things, and so asking "how many?" for things such as a sheet of paper or a spool of thread would require a different translation for each. As for "maybe," the Japanese version is attached onto a verb, and wouldn't make sense translated by itself.
For fixing the translator, I'd like to see the translation of "how?" fixed, as Japanese members of my linkshell will ask "Job how?" using the translator. And while it makes sense to ask it that way in Japanese, it doesn't in English.
How about {Joke} or something along the lines of {j/k lol}... I was recently kicked from a jp party for saying {Have stuff to do, gotta go} {Besieged} when the besieged message flashed across the screen. >.>
Also, I thought they said a while ago they were adding relic weaponskills? Anyone else recall this?
Another one, Replacement. Or something similar.
I so needed this last night. I was in a very good pick up xp party last night in the high 50's. All JP save for the leader and I, and he passed me the leader when he had to log (thanks for that) to invite his rep. Turned out the rep was JP.
We were blazing along but eventually I had to go to sleep. The other people in the party were higher level than I was, some significantly, and we were sync'd to me.
I finally just gave up on trying to think of a way to use the auto translate to ask, "What level should we sync to if I get a replacement?." In my experience most JPs understand 'rep,' but the conversation was just too complicated for me to figure out. I normally love autotranslate, but it let me down last night.![]()
