Halp~! Cant connect...sometimes...

I keep getting connection time outs on FFXI -- No r0 just bam blue window 'Lost connection dah dah dha check wires dah dah' -- When I goto reconnect it of course says Im not connected to the internet :3 but hi~! here i am D:! --I try rebooting and it worked twice and I stayed connected for about a hour b4 poof! -- I currently cant even get POL to connect and IF I do it takes forever on the 'Retrieving friends list.....' then pops back to the login menu -.-;~!

Called my ISP and they SAY they are not blocking anything, that it HAS to be POL. But this NEVER happens at home and the laptop was connected fine this morning b4 I shut it down for work.

I am connected to the net, Its only happend the last 2 mornings, everything works/worked fine at home this morning/last night, The tech support said something about streaming media not allowed..............-.o?

Is there a way to fix this D

I work a hotel so our network is very much shared but there is a total of 5 guests 'in house' so AT most 6 people are trying to use the internet -- I cant/wont mess with the router (holy cow u should see the routers they have in the back room (T1 connection))

I login from work 2-3 times a week for the last 3 months(holidays = slowga) and never had this issue until yesterday morning -- which at about noon yesterday i was able to login and stay connected till I got off at 3pm -- but today I cant even stay connected for 20mins if I even get connected.

Tech support said something about no streaming media allowed and they cant block just one thing that if I was 'blocked' I wouldnt be able to connect at all...
