I'm not talking about the legal ramifications. I'm talking about the social commentary on his actions.

I think most people care about someone's actions rather than the position they hold. That's not to say I want Bush knocked off, but I do think he's a War Criminal. I don't think the fact that he's a US President absolves him from basic moral judgments (which don't always coincide with legal judgments and vice versa).

Stop being such a sheep. Just because he successfully convinced the fundamentalists in this country to get him into office doesn't automatically deserve my respect. I am not even going into all the "legacy" he will leave us with when he's finally done. Not necessarily showing class, but throwing a pair of shoes at him is a tiny reflection of the collective sentiments in response to his policies and performance for the past 8 years -- fuck Bush and he won't be missed.
