If the 360 it was calibrated to was out of range, it would have done the same thing with the closest 360 it could find. You could easily end up finding the wrong 360 this way.

You obviously have no 360, or have no idea how the calibration works. -_-

That being said, smart kid. I wouldn't of thought of trying to activate the controller heh. Then again, since it is a dorm I'm sure he suspected that it'll most likely still be around.

The article isnt the best article that tells the story, but the guy who stole the 360 has yet to return, but yes I would be kicking his ass personaly.
