What would the Korean characters look like for the name Yu-jin Chang? And how are they put together to form the full name? You can't just put them side-by-side and bam, you're done, right?

What do you think this is? Starcraft forums?
open+yu for Yu
ch/j+i
over
n for -jin
ch+a
over
ng for the last
Is how I think it would be done. last names are usually written first.
the "a" in chang could be the "ae" character too, idk for sure.
Score, thanks Beckwin.
np but if you can run it by anyone else, I'd suggest doing so, because I'm only very early on in learning the language.
oh and it's probably
open
over
yu
for "yu", since u/yu is a horizontal (iirc its the horizontal line with two downward dashes).
WHAT A SURPRISE BECKWIN KNOWS KOREAN
PLANNING A TRIP TO VISIT YOUR BFF KIM?
alright thanks, I'll see if I can find someone else to verify it. are you taking classes to learn the language? or using computer programs?
books and a couple friends who know a bit.
k im korean yo
in hangul it looks like this: 유진 장, or in korean order 장유진 (surname comes first)
this is my friends name, odd coincidence lol
yu is ㅇ[y]+ ㅠ[u] (유)
jin is ㅈ + ㅣ + ㄴ (진) 지 is ji, ㄴ adds the n
chang is ㅈ + ㅏ + ㅇ (장) 자 is cha, ㅇ adds the ng at the end
does the korean text show up? if so, i think you'd be able to see the hangul and just think of it as a drawing and match'em up
makes me want to learn korean so i can understand korean sc commentary. lol.
