Has anyone been able to confirm that the Argent Coat is a level 100 synth?

I can't but I got a skillup at 97 and someone else at 98. Also it was recommended by the guy who gives you the harder recipes...

sitting at 99.2 so looking to see if i can use the argent coat to skillup or go totally broke getting to 100

so i decided to actually make one today
i am 99.2 - i had my mooglification but no apron or glasses on, no support from guild
got a .1 on a break
so it has to be 100+

Curious about this too, if my alch is low enough I could attempt break-synthing to 100 maybe <.<

Alchemy is low - I made it at 21 Alc. No skillup. Someone else mentioned they tried lower than that (12?) and got .1.

well i was @ lv 35 alch sub and I was breaking half of them... its at least like 42 or something

If it was 42 then Eldelphia wouldn't have been able to even attempt the synth with only 21 Alchemy. You were just unlucky. The Alchemy sub is probably somewhere between 20-25.

Break on second which gave me the 3rd attempt (only lost chain and platinum silk).

Both NQ, but Im happy... 99.5
