God of War Remastered Edition Drops in November - God Of War - Kotaku

Sony hit up God of War fans with a pre-order solicit today, promising a remastered God of War I and II on a single disc for PS3 next month, plus a demo code for God of War III, due next year.

The God of War Collection, which hits retail in November, promises high definition resolution at 60 frames per second. Each copy includes a voucher to redeem the God of War III demo. The compilation is $36.99.

Sony Santa Monica is aiming to give good reason for what Kratos is doing and has done in the past, rather than just having him be presented as a mindless killing machine.

I really liked GoW2, but I just couldn't get into GoW1. Just didn't feel as polished or tight. Looking forward to 3, but it doesn't get my juices flowing like Bayonetta does.

God of War III demo included on District 9 Blu-ray

In case you don't want to buy the god of war collection, district 9 was a great movie so its not a bad deal except that comes out 1month later(more or less) . As for me i preorder the god of war collection.

I liked it better with Kratos was a mindless killing machine. It's what made his character so unique. I hate that "awesome no holds-barred killer until later on in the story you find out deep down he's really a sap" crap.

Come on dont be silly, thats why he's pissed off is because of what he did to his family, thats why they gave that back story. Being betrayed by zeus was just the icing.

I think that was my big problem with Chains of Olympus, is that even though it was a well done psp game in a number of aspects, they didn't seem to go out of their way to really make Kratos seem brutal.

Some of those scenes from the first 2 games (like the head smashing, god killing, etc) are really over the top hallmarks of the series, and not having things like that in CoO make it almost forgettable. It's still one of my favorite PSP games, but I think it could have been a lot better.
