    SNM Soloing

Just curious as to what SNMs(trigger NMs for SCNM) people have been soloing, and some strategies/suggestions. Specifically looking at La Vaule ones, but any would be good, mainly looking for ones to do as RDM/NIN or COR/NIN...I see accounts of some being done as RDM but not really sure where there are reliable kiting spots, etc.

I've done most of the La Vaule NMs with 2-3 people, so not really solo, but I can definitely see them as soloable. The easiest one that stood out to me would be Draketrade Zlodgodd.

For Draketrade, you will need to sac pull it to the nearby river. There's some tigers on the way, but it's not very far to the bridge/river so you should be ok. Once you've brought it there, reraise and pretty much just dot/kite it up and down the river. It constantly spams Jump, however it only absorbs one shadow, and it's very easy to get the "Too far away" message, which makes it stop for a few seconds. Hardest part is going to be the weakened kiting, but if you can make it through that, it shouldn't be too bad. Also, be careful to not go too far south the down the river when kiting, as the orcs and imps above can aggro and link.

Agrios, the gigas NM, is also probably soloable. You don't need to sac pull it to the river since it's in a little area by itself right next to the river. It was really hard to outrun it with w legs for some reason, so I think it has some kind of increase movement speed, could be wrong. However, with Slow II on, I found it fairly easy to tank. It rarely seemed to double attack. Biggest problem was when it did Grand Slam, which it seemed to spam a few times in a row when it wanted to do it. Without shadows though it only did like 300~damage. You could probably just kite it when you see it ready grand slam though, since it'll pause for a few and give you a head start.

    Hope this helps

Draketrade Zlodgodd you can just pull with powder boots to river as RDM/NIN, need to reclaim it but everything else will deaggro. Takes about 50 mins to solo, nukes are resisted often though, and I had no Bio 3. Don't go too close to the edge where the house is on, the imp can aggro. If you do die you can reraise and hold easily though. Here's a vid of Observant Zekka solo; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0Tz7s...e=channel_page

I believe they're all immune to bind/grav also, so you would have to straight tank the ones that don't spam abilities.

Draketrader Zlodgodd - As mentioned spams jump but it only takes one shadow and isn't hard to to sack it to the river via the bridge east of the pop location. Once you've got it there just kite up and down with DoT and should have plenty of oppurtunity to nuke.

Coinbiter Cjaknokk - Similar to Draketrader except that shoulder charge takes 1-3 shadows so can be much more dangerous in that respect but the more shadows you have up the less damage it does. It also stops to cast dread spikes and absorb tp infrequently giving you oppurtunities to nuke. To pull this one, pulling it SE is your best bet but you may link orcs up in the central island, depending on your luck you may have to wipe/RR.

All-Seeing Onyx Eye - Your best bet for this one is rdm/bst. Offensively its not nearly as threatening as other mobs in the zone but it spams charm which is a conal move and can be avoided if you are facing the other way. Like other Eye NMs it has a natural regen which is why /bst works best. Its a sch mob with helixs and also can cast AoE AM2 spells but they should be any threat to a rdm with good MDB set. Cures itself at lower hp but with pet + DoT is easy to overcome. No pulling is require as it pops in the river with plenty of pugs nearby. If /bst isn't an option I can imagine /nin would be able to kill it just fine also.

Cogtooth Skagnogg - Watching the avesta video for this makes it easy to understand. I haven't soloed the NMs as bst and I have only managed to duo this one. Kite as Rdm/whm seems to be the best option, /nin offers no protection as it barely ever melees even if you are right next to it. A short pull off the bridge into the water and you should be able to loose the 2-3 links, trying to kite this weakened wouldn't be wise.

Agrios - Like Draketrader again except easier and less threatening. Power attack is only 1 shadow and slam is low damage even if you don't have shadows up to absorb it.

Falsespinner Bhudbrodd - Another easy solo, just kite and DoT after pulling, less oppurtunity to nuke but you should have chance when it does Orcich counterstance phase. Stagger your DoTs because below 50% it can charm, its small range but if it gets you it lasts a long time (like dynamis). May have to die after getting it into water but may be able to loose all the Orcs, I don't remember if any tigers in the way to complicate things.

Rugaroo - Easiest solo in terms of risk of death, will go through phases of spamming call to the moon constantly and barely moving. I'd probably recommend /bst here again as pets don't get intimidated and the threat of NM isn't great. Another benefit of /bst is you won't need to wipe/rr on pull whereas you probably will /nin due to several tigers in the way.

Feeblescheme Bhogbigg - This or Cogtooth would be hardest solo, /whm with lots of echoes. /bst doesn't really work here because the vials will always come for you after your first pet dies regardless of hate (I didn't know this when I attempted solo on bst but managed to get to 50% with just echoes and no sigil refresh/yags so rdm should have np). It stops to cast tier3 ga spells and such which may occasionally catch you due to a badly timed bind but again with magic reduction gear shouldn't threaten a rdm.
