I was thinking maybe they meant something DNC related, could be anything really. We already know that Quick Draw is a magic attack and modded by player AGI, so that statement isn't that far out there.

I asked some people who work for Turbine and Blizzard if they thought it would be a good idea to make a mob that's so hard to defeat, that after 4 years it still hasn't been done without a glitch/as intended and has been patched back to impossible right away, then devs respond to all questions by saying, "It's beatable", and then "Stop asking about it, we will not answer."

Here were their responses:

Blizzard: This sounds like FFXI, I honestly don't see how that game still has a player base, I've never heard anything good about it from anyone.

This kind of opinion is really arrogant, but I guess they can be like that with the kind of playerbase WoW has.. But it's also the reason why I'm never going to play an MMO like WoW and it's copies.

Cause, you know, FFXI isn't the 4th most popular MMO in North America and the most popular MMO in Japan or anything.

There's some frustration here and there (AV, bla bla) and people love to whinge, but it's a pretty good game otherwise.

The interviewers could decide if they wanted to ask the question anyway. It's not like they would get pissed and leave the room. They only gave the stock answers and then moved on.

Honestly, you asked the competition about what they think of the competition... what did you expect?

Everyone knows AV is stupid, but FFXI exists outside of AV. It's one mob. We want to kill it, we can't, we moved on. If you want to play WoW, then go do it. *shrug*

Exactly. They answered the question that way entirely for their own personal gain. Why not place their game over the competition? This reply helps push people from trying another MMO that they might very well find more enjoyable (or not).

These interviews always make me wonder why they bother answering questions at all. Its obvious they dont care what we think, or what would make their GAME more FUN, instead of a fucking hassle. Pikko, explain to me how no interviewer ever flies off the handle at these developers when they say arrogant shit like "meh we dropped PW to 2 hour time limit, what else you want"
