Someone who I mentioned this to reminded me of this.

It's obviously inspired by Mary Mary, but I'd hardly call it sexual. Even for a Playboy it's seriously tame, hardly worthy of an uproar. Pretty sure we've all been on the internet long enough to be able to conjure up approriate ideas for/links to stuff that would be offensive.

Now had they said "te queremos", which would be more along the lines of physically wanting/loving someone (aka "we want to bang you Maria), then maybe more people could actually justify being offended.
