I'll be the token SMN and bitch about how DI is not an avatar I can summon.
Or, to dumb it down for OP and his friends, ME AM WANT PONY PLZ

Jod's jealous because he's one of those RDM that soloed Amikiri.
Wait.
Ok that's right.
I hope you and your excal/aegis get -17'd and maybe the rest of your LS learns how to gear themselves so you don't feel like you have to do shit like this again
I mean, a galka PLD in purple armor tanking with a rajas ring, amemet mantle, and assorted other melee gear on a flying tiamat without a single bit of MDEF gear is a great idea, right? not even an NQ lamian kaman, just completely and totally retarded
was he a bought account too?
how is spooking ix a grief tactic...
Don't blame the player, blame SE for putting a mob that you can spook really easily into the game. Also, if you are camping it and an ls spooks it more than 3 times in a row, you fail at camping.
I'd say the fail goes on BG here for not being able to claim it when they are actually trying (losing to 1-2 people in each zone?), and then calling a GM about it
It's a grief tactic because it is only being done to prevent another group in succeeding, a.k.a grieving them.
you want to call your mom about it while you are at it? Just failing at claiming
It's a pretty legit strategy to put an entire pt in a few zones and then have 1-2 people in the other zones to scare so you can force it to the zones where your tanks and support are...
If SE didn't want this, why did they do it like this?
What a fail argument you present. It's greifing plain and clear if you're only doing it to fuck other people over. All I responded to was :
That is how it is defined as a grief tactic. You do not have to agree with it, but 2+2 does not equal a rainbow because you think it does.how is spooking ix a grief tactic...
No, by my definition, griefing fafnir would be to have a single pt claim it, rage it, then when it rages and calms, swap to another 6 people claiming and raging it untill the other LS falls asleep.
Ridill can still drop of fafnir if everyone has oneThey can still sell the ridill to anyone after the fight is over and if the sword drops too.
These guys are obviously utterfucktards, yes, but if they were actually trying to claim Ixion against you then what the hell are you doing calling GM on them for strategically depopping it? Everyone that camps Ixion on Bismarck (FR, Lunies, NiN, Prophets) purposefully depops it if they know one of their RNGs can't beat a rival shell's RNG to it, it's been like that since the very first epic three-hour FR vs. Lunies race to kill the first one. It's just an accepted part of the camping, even though admittedly it does suck.
Like someone said previously, blame SE for making it possible to depop the damn thing on a whim.

also, pretty sure ridill can't drop if everyone has it since fransisca doesn't drop if all members have it, thought it was determined equippable rare items won't drop if everyone has but keys and shit will
If everyone in the alliance has pixie, there will be dring or nothing in the pool. (dring with the same chance as if nobody has pixie). Same goes for Cerb and Algol. So i guess it works the same for Ridill. If everyone got one it has no chance to drop.
Because Fafnir drops only Ridill? Someone in the party could need any other drop of Fafnir. We camp Fafnir to sell N.heads and Ridill is a nice additional drop.
something else probably, some people in our ls go to dyna with other shells and thus not the same time. we have them scare it until we finish our dyna
For some reason that didnt even come to mind, so yeah if they got that person a temp-ban because he wasnt willing to let annother ls kill it just because his ls didnt have the people for it, then good.
I was just looking at it as : they scared it because their tank party was too slow to get into the zone and would have died before they arrived if they had claimed.
