From what was written, the "Occasionally double attacks" is present ONLY with a 300% Aftermath. When you have the double attack aftermath, you do not obtain the ATT or ACC Aftermaths. There is no base double attack, acc, or ATT boost.

Duoing with friends I often pull hate off them since the proc is very high, and normally will almost double my damage output.

Granted I have to keep carbuncle out, but it's not so bad.

(I'm not meleeing in merit parties.... yet. I'm just contributing to the SMN DD theory ^^)

Finished the quest. I forgot that I had to take off weapon/armor before clicking the palace for certain cutscenes. Got the CS at the palace then went to Abquhbah for the final cutscene that finished the quest and got this:

And the Tupsimati/Laevateinn don't have similar hidden effects?

BLM Mythic was tested semi-thoroughly at fanfest. No hidden damage bonus. It's just the +20MAB. ES will add an additional ~10-12 MAB on the next nuke.

It comes to roughly a -4% damage decrease switching from HQ staves to Laevateinn in additional to a sizable MACC loss. When using ES, the next nuke using Laevateinn will do about 3% more damage than a normal nuke using HQ staves.

Even if you were to use the Laevateinn aftermath fulltime, since you cannot seem to get both MACC and MAB in the same aftermath, you will always see a sizable loss in either MACC or damage compared to HQ staves. This makes Laevateinn truly inferior to HQ staves even if you were meleeing full time maintaining whichever aftermath effect you wanted at all times. The only optimal situation to use Laevateinn is to nuke with it on ES for a ~3% damage increase over HQ staves.
